A lot of bakery are good especially the traditional hand craft bakery.
Honestly really disappointing. The BBQ pork buns had almost no pork but a ton of sickly-sweet gelatinous goo, and the bun itself was undercooked. The sponge cake was dry and had an odd taste. The red bean mochi were good, but I'll go elsewhere next time.
Wonderful little bakery. I was sad when the one on gateway closed down so if I am ever downtown I make sure to go in and grab some BBQ pork buns!
The buns were delicious, the fillings were generous. The lady who served me today is super nice. Make sure you have cash, as they don’t accept cards.
Hands down The best cakes in Edmonton. Perfect amount of sweetness and bread is super fresh it just melts in your mouth. Fruit swiss role is a must try. I am sad they closed the gateway blvd location.
Horrible customer service we called the lady because they gave us a wrong cake and we were very respectful but they would extremely rude when we expressed our frustration. We said this is the wrong order and the lady over the phone said “okay bye” and hung up.
Excellent all around! Not typical for this area, fantastic people!
Bakery smells so good. Buns are soft, fresh, and delicious. Kids love the curry buns and sesame red bean balls. Lots of street parking. Neighhood is a bit sketchy, but that is the City's fault. Ladies are so nice and sometimes give extra at end of day. Awesome family business that has been there over 30 years.
Amazing food and place. Will come back
Best Asian bakery in the city!

Quality pastry at the hongkong bakery Is not as good as used to be the doughest, so thick and so oily.
The inside was full of Hong Kong style atmosphere. However, we had to request the bread and pastries, and the staff assisted us. It was different from Hong Kong, where it is usually self-serve.
We ended up buying pineapple barbecue pork buns, cocktail buns and chicken pies. The prices were not particularly affordable, but the buns were large, and the fillings were very generous.
The cookies are really good
Wish they accepted debit not just cash
Scrumptious baked goods. A variety to select from and well presented.
