The bakery goods look fresh and are delicious! Quite a variety to choose from. I enjoy their fruit cocktail cake and mini-red bean pastries. The ladies helping serve are always very attentive and nice. Cash payment.

Always consistently tasty and great value. Been going there forever and always drop in whenever I'm downtown. Ordered a custom cake but enough for 30 people and didn't disappoint. Other places wanted well over $200 and this place made one for me at less than half the price and was completely satisfied.
Truly an Edmonton institution and glad to see the ladies are still at it.
Best HK style bakery in town. The egg tarts are to die for.
Always love stopping by for their pastries! Their pineapple buns and roll cakes are fresh, soft, and delicious every time ❤️

Ordered a large number of macarons from here unfortunately about 70% of them were stale/cooked incorrected (brittle, dry... frozen?). The quality has gone very downhill here which is unfortunate. Service has always been fine for me though, nothing amazing, but nothing bad.

Reviewing this solely based on on their pork (lo mei Kai) it is the most unimpressive version I hv ever had. It is dry with large pieces of bbq pork. There is no gravy whatsoever. I never ever buy this again. The rice is also very dry. The chicken version is better. But not much better.

I've been to many Chinese bakeries in many different cities. The buns here are very good. You order at the counter and they box it for you. I prefer what they have in Hong Kong and Vancouver where the customer gets a tray and picks out their own buns but given the small space they have its understandable why they chose this mode of service. What does distract from this store is the excessive presence of the unhoused right outside their door. For the most part they leave people alone but it may make some feel uncomfortable.

Attendant was very kind, the store was spartan and clean. But the thing that made me come back to give a review was the Napoleon. Best Napoleon I've had in Edmonton. It's always the puff pastry that disappoints in Napoleons cuz it's obvious they sit around and absorb the moisture (looking at you, Italian Centre) or were previously frozen (big chain grocery stores). Not here. We visited the bakery in the afternoon and I didn't eat this little joy until the evening, and the puff pastry was still crisp, so it was def fresh that day. It was so nice not to be disappointed!! I want to drive back and get more PDQ. Kids also loved their cocktail buns.

Amazing pastries. Not too sweet, fresh, and crispy. Would highly recommend stopping in if you're in the area.
