Hula Poke - Southgate Centre

Very bad customer service. The lady at the front is very rude. The worst experience i have ever had at hula poke. Very disappointing

The grilled salmon bowl is extremely expensive considering it’s just a huge pile of rice with zero flavor. I had to force myself to eat all of it to justify spending that on lunch. Almost no veg toppings and the sauce was not nearly enough and lacked any flavor. Will not return.

Today I had the green curry with double chicken. The green curry was more of a sauce than a traditional green curry. It lacked curry flavor and had a strong sourness to it. Chicken was also a little too salty.

I ordered the tiki bowl which I’ve had many times before but they were skimping on the toppings so the bowl didn’t taste as good and they were missing some items entirely.

I agree with the other reviews saying it's overpriced. $16 truly isn't really worth it for the small portion you get. Taste it fine though

Food was delicious. And staff are very friendly and helpful to my questions regarding the menu. I actually felt so bad how the staff was treated by a food delivery driver when i ordered. The driver forgot to bring his thermal bag and the staff had refused to give the food to him, and that made the driver upset and started to yell and said bad words to the staff. I actually salute the staff at this place as they did not let the driver get his way. They made me secure of food safety specially as they are serving raw fish. I would definitely recommend and will come back to try the rest of the menu.

Food is outstanding. All the staff especially Mark is really nice and friendly when he was ordering my meal. The yuzu salmon is my favourite 100 percent freshly made. I totally recommend

The Tiki Bowl Fish and Tuna on Sushi Rice was so yummy, I finish the whole thing, If you love fish you have to try it.

Hula does poke very well. I've experienced their poke at the U of A so to get it otherwise you have to drive to Southgate Mall.

Their food is fresh and delicious. They also generously offer tasters if you want of their food, sauces or even drinks.

The service was extremely friendly and kind.

The atmosphere...well, it's a good court. But at least Southgate is relatively clean and well lit.

Disrespectful staff

Only rice and some vegetables and a small piece of fish for $16!!! the girls are very unfriendly, I don't want to come anymore:(
