We visited The Atlas twice during our trip to CFR 2024. Our first dinner we were really short of time but they were able to get us the 3 course meal quick and it was excellent!! Our second meal was the Ahi Tuna Carpaccio, Prime Rib dinner, Lamb Chops and Smoky Old Fashions-SUPERB!!!!

We were going to a show at Rogers place so this was dinner before. We did the three course meal offering. Wife had the carpaccio to start and I had the shrimp cocktail. We shared of course and both were very good. For our mains my wife had the lobster and halibut risotto and I had a couple bites. Was very good. For my main I had the steak and was cooked very well. I added the Oscar topping but i think if I were to do it again I would pass on that. The third option for main was a bone in pork chop. We saw it go by to other tables and it looked decent. Dessert was shared and was a chocolate and peanut butter type dish. Very good. Didn't need two portions lol. All in all a very nice experience with good service and great food. Easy to recommend and will definitely go back if we're downtown again.

Went with a friend to celebrate milestone birthdays. Nice ambience and the food was excellent. The fresh bread was a nice surprise but I question the offering of gorgonzola butter because the cheese was overpowering. It muted the complex flavours of the carpaccio that was well prepared and presented. The lobster & halibut risotto was delicious. The wine went well with the food and dessert was light. I would not normally spend $100 on dinner but it was good value for the money. The service was a bit over the top. There were a lot of staff, with training/preparation for hockey season obviously in progress. Staff were nice but we were asked a few too many times about how every single part of our meal was. If I had been on a romantic date I might have been annoyed about halfway through. I would definitely eat there again.

Great atmosphere however, we waited 45 minutes between our appetizer and main meal. The main finally arrived and was covered in salt. We were almost late for our event due to the dinning experience taking 2 hours. This location just re-opened and I believe that was some of the issue. We will try again but give ourselves a 2.5 hour window. Our server was great, the issue was from the kitchen.

Mushroom Risotto is really tasty! It's a bit rich so I packed half of my meal to take home. It was also too much to eat with a 3 course meal. Atlas is always good, it's our go to place for a nice dinner!

Food took a real long time to get. Once got it it was cold and not very good. We had ate there once a year ago ish and was great. This time we took guests and everyone's meal was very disappointing. But our waitress was very good.

We have visited Atlas many times and I have to say after this last time I don't think we will be back. I'm not sure what has happened to this place but it was not what we were used to. The exhaust fans maybe were not working properly but we were seated right next to the kitchen and it smelled so smoky it was awful. The service was not very good and the food well for the price was terrible. Maybe it was just an off night but, there are so many other places right in the vicinity of Rogers Place that I think its time for us to move on from Atlas and try others before hockey games.

5:45 pm reservation for an 8:00 pm hockey game...was JUST enough time and dessert was rushed. Great meal had by 4 of us. Well prepared and delivered hot. It took awhile for the drinks to be poured and the meals to be sent out of the kitchen, with the excuse of a "large party in the back room". Since we weren't in too much of a hurry it was ok with us. However, the slowness continued and after waiting 20 minutes for dessert it finally showed up but we had to rush through eating it. Plan on spending about $75.00/person. Probably won't go back.

We've been many times and had very good experiences every time so we invited a new guest to the restaurant. This time was different. It wasn't all bad but certainly not the same experience as we've been accustomed to. The good was the appetizer of the goat cheese bruschetta and the tomahawk pork chop (I order every time and it was better than ever). There were 2 orders of the chicken and both were far less than the usual well cooked, great flavour meal. It appeared as though it must be cooked sous vide and it's supposed to be smoked on the Josper smoker but it seemed as though they forgot that step. The skin was not rendered down at all after initial cooking in the sous vide making it less than appetizing. Normally it had been great and tastes more like red meat than white meat believe it or not. Then there is the service. Our server was not very attentive and forgot orders. I had to ask about the Caeser I ordered after the appetizer was brought out. It was the first chance I had to ask about it. She forgot to ring it in. We had ordered a bottle of wine for the table and not once were our glasses re-filled. It was put in a decanter that had a very large spout and it was awkward to pour sitting down but that's what we were forced to do. As we ate our mains, we ordered a shareable side of roasted vegetables but it wasn't brought out with the mains. We were over half done our mains and our server came to see if the kitchen brought out the side. It hadn't come out and we said don't bother at this point. No apologies and no other visits from the server or manager on duty. To top it off, I had to point out the fact that the side as not removed from the bill. Overall we will come back and chalk this up to a one time occurrence but it was far less than an experience we were happy with.

One meal was delivered to the table after everyone was finished eating. We had to ask to have it removed from the bill. Service was okay at best. Not normal for Atlas which is one of my favourite places.

My husband and I enjoyed our romantic Valentines Day meal. The food and wine were fantastic and our server was really nice. We enjoyed the ambiance, felt like we were in Vegas. We would come again for a special occasion.

Valentines special was explained as a discounted price.... the fixed price was not on the special menu/ or I didn't see it....then I was not told the 10percent from my club card did not apply to specials until after the waiter went back to readjust the bill for 10 percent off. We only got 10 percent off water with a $180 bill which after tips was over 200... I wanted to tip 20percent cause I just like to give back the discount to the waiters but i just felt off by that small promise to honour the club card.

Had a wonderful valentines dinner. The food and ambiance was fantastic. Unfortunately our waitress seemed very inexperienced. She may be better served starting at a Denny's or something more casual for experience before working at a place of this quality. I do have to say that the Manager and other waitresses (that you could see were all on their game) that helped her were all fantastic. Over all it was a good experience.
