Very lovely staff but the food did not reflect the pricing at all. Mayo in rolls tasted sour, and grilled salmon was more similar to poached. (Vegetables that came on the side were 1/2 cooked and unseasoned- very unpleasant) Appetizers were good but nothing to write home about. There’s so many better places in this city to eat.

Love coming here. Long time family owned local business. Very friendly staff. The food was amazing. I love the Traditional contemporary old school interior, and of course it’s all about the food. They were delicious. We ordered a classic Katsu pork Don, cherry blossom sushi, rainbow maki, and miso soup. Very reasonable prices. Highly recommended. And big portion.

Eat here! When Ichiban opened I went for lunch and loved it. Today, they still have some of the best food I've ever had. I cannot say enough positive things about the place or its owners. Be cautioned, the food comes out when it's ready so you might get your maki before your gyoza but oh that gyoza!
