Never met the owner but I met his son and he is a miserable teen with zero customer service experience. I highly recommend to keep him inside in the bakery, do not put him upfront. You will lose customers.

Tried the halawet aljeben from this store (first photo) and was very disappointed. The pieces are extremely large, so just a few pieces weigh over a kilo so force you to buy more than you actually want. They also use roasted green peas instead of real pistachios.
For comparison, the second photo is from another sweet shop, normal-sized pieces made properly with REAL pistachios.
On top of that, the staff never smile and act like they hate what they’re doing.
Last 4 times I’ve called to check if they have certain sweets, and all 4 times they didn’t answer. They have some of the worst customer service I’ve ever experienced

Honestly the best Arab sweets I’ve ever had. Everything tastes so fresh and homemade, and the workers were so kind and respectful. Such a good vibe overall. Definitely would recommend!
