I love this place. I drive 45 minutes to go to this place! This is the best Arabic sweet shop in all of Alberta hands down. I have tried both Calgary and Edmonton. The pastries are fresh and delicious. I Highly recommend, this coming from Someone who has travelled in the entire MENA region.

I love going to Ammar's sweets after a long day at work. Their halawet jubin is so good, and so are the new Rass el abed (chocolate cake balls). They taste exactly like home, plus their price is perfect. Theyre not too sweet nor too chocolatey, exactly the way Rass el abed is. And their halawet jubin is always freshly made, same with Layali el sham (pink and yellow cakes). Like genuinely speaking, worth every cent.
