Best Jamaican Food I've had since I got here from NYC in 2016!!! Im happy and mad its taken this long for me to find this restaurant. Ox tail please and rice were PERFECT!!! Perfect balance if sweet and spicy heat. I love love loved 😍 it. They did forget to give me my coleslaw so I called and told them. They took my name down and promise to give me an extra one the next time I come back and I WILL BE BACK! I heard someone try to order BBQ fried chicken but they were out. I def want to try that too!

I usually order from them. The food is good. They, however, sometimes forget to add the festival to your meal… that’s something I look forward to when I order Jamaican food.

We had a fantastic group dinner at Irie Foods, and everything was spot on! Communication and organization for our party were clear and seamless from start to finish — they were perfectly punctual with our reservation too. The food was absolutely delicious: flavorful Jamaican classics with generous portions that left everyone satisfied. Drinks were great as well. The staff handled our group effortlessly, making sure everyone was taken care of.The lively reggae music really set the perfect relaxed, authentic vibe.
Highly recommend this spot in the Dover beach area for anyone craving real Jamaican flavors — we'll definitely be back!

Best place in the city hands down. 13 bucks for jerk chicken, rice and peas, dumpling and coleslaw on Wednesday!

I haven’t been here since I was a kid and so happy to say that it’s still as good as I remember!! Today happened to have a Jerk Chicken special which I found out is every Wednesday. The chicken was perfectly cooked and seasoned…the jerk wasn’t too spicy or over powering and matched amazingly with the rice and beans. For the quality and quantity, I don’t think there’s a better deal in Edmonton on a Wednesday. Restaurant was clean and inviting and the lady serving was friendly and welcoming. They have daily specials that I look forward to trying!
