Customer service is hit or miss. The ladies that were in on Friday November 28 at 9 am were absolutely lovely and all of them helped me out. There were two employees they had in on Sunday November 30 around 11-12 were not... they lacked any customer service skills and were just rude to other customers. I miss the 97th street location, I never had this kind of hit or miss service there, it was always 10/10. But here not so much.

I'm growing increasingly disappointed in the bread coming from this alleged mainstay. It is inconsistently risen, inconsistently mixed. If it wasn't the most nutrient dense sandwich loaf, in town, is probably just drop it. But I'd rather see The Italian Bakery pull up their sleeves and show us that they have bakers at the bakery. Just don't put subpar product on the shelf. It's embarrassing to you and really infuriating for working people who just want better bread than Loblaws. Come on!

Been supporting the 118ave & 41st location for 40yrs since I was old enough to ride my bike there. I never thought I'd see the day the damn crusty sandwich buns would be half the size...very very sad!
I talked to Megan about ordering 5 dozen cupcakes. I showed her the design and color. She introduced me to Olga the baker and she said it would be no problem. Wow, she was right what a beautiful job. Thanks again to Italian bakery a real hidden gem 💎 ✨️.

Downtown location had to shut down, but fortunately we still have this location doing their thing! Awesome sandwiches, delicious doughnuts, cakes and pastries, excellent customer service and great prices! One of my favourite joints for a quick bite and tasty sweets!
