It's an OG staple in Edmonton that has expanded exponentially. They treat their customers well and you can always find what your looking for and if not, they'll bring it in for you. I love this store!
Italian Centre Shop is like stepping into a bustling Italian market right here in Edmonton. The smell of freshly brewed espresso and warm bread greets you at the door, and the deli is overflowing with cured meats, cheeses and imported olives. There are aisles of local produce and shelves of specialty foods from Europe, plus a bakery with flavourful ciabatta, cannoli and other pastries. It's my favourite place for a quick panino or to pick up ingredients for a charcuterie...
I find for the value of the product I am purchasing and the rarity of availability, the prices are highly reasonable. The pastries taste like they're made with love and the deli team is always incredibly educated in their product knowledge and impressive with their suggestions. They've never lead me wrong. This is my comfort place to shop and feel the calmness of the bustle and not chaos as such in larger grocery chains.
