some of the best burgers in town. head chef seems very passionate about the burger game and is always experimenting with wacky specials. fries are great, although the poutine's a little mid. nice spot in the summer to grab a quick milkshake or dole whip too. my #1 fav downtown for a quick meal.
Why isnt this place packed?!! Felt like best burger Ive had in years! Ordered BBQ crunch extra patty and fries with malt aioli. Tornadoed through the juicy smashed burger, and even the fries and aioli were refreshingly tasty (ran out aioli super quick). The image honestly does not capture how good it actually is.
After walking by over several months, my codiner and I decided to give Jack's a try. We ordered a Standard and BBQ Crunch plus a single fries. The food was generously apportioned, the 5 oz. smash burgers were delicious, the buns were fresh, and the single order size hand cut fries were tasty and enough feed feed us both.
