Just had my first ever jamaican as an eastern european.
The chicken is perfect, slides off the bone and the flavour of brown sauce is something out of this world.

Went to the mall and found them hiding in the corner. They are so nice and approachable. The food though, oh my, the food. It has been awhile since I have had oxtail (as when I find it it is expensive) and it was a reasonable price and a great quantity and so good! Would 100% go back

I ordered on a whim while shopping in West Edmonton Mall and what a little gem the Jamaican Jerk Shack is! Delicious goat curry with rice and plantain. I couldn't resist ordering a side of jerk chicken! Everything was tasty and cooked to perfection. Great place to eat when you're in the food court. Highly recommend!!

Please train your staff. The young lady at the counter refused to even make eye contact. We stood there waiting for her to say something but she stood there right opposite and kept gazing at the food court. No other customers around..just two persons wanting to buy food. Legend has it she is still gazing at the empty table in the food court.Maybe she hates the job or they trained her to be a deterrent to customers. I understand why noone was buying. I dont think she was there to sell food.
Person worked Monday 11th August at 1pm.

Ordered a large oxtail. Pretty tasty but definitely did not feel like a large portion 🤨 Can't imagine what a regular looks like. Was shocked once I opened the box. I know oxtail is expensive but $22+ for that in a food court is crazy.

The food is great, we come here all the times when visiting the city. The only downside of this is that the girls working there they always have attitude and they rush you out. When there is other people working there our experience is completely different and you feel welcome.
They need to work In their costumer service.

This little gem in the west food court in West Edmonton Mall is excellent. The jerk chicken 🍗 was amazing and delicious. Definitely recommend coming here for authentic Jamaican food. Loved the rice and peas. I definitely will come back here.

I ordered the regular jerk chicken and it was pretty tasty! A moment I wanted to recall was when I effortlessly shredded the chicken drumstick with just a plastic spoon and fork. 10/10, would eat again!

Maxine’s food is good, the shop is clean, good hygiene barriers. We come here every time we stop at WEM. Real food amongst the fast food.
Cashier Maxine was super nice and the food was amazing!! Would definitely come back here.
