We are casuals clients for this location but didn’t go for about 2 to 3 months … and will not go back soon.
1) Prices increased way too much!
2) No more senior menus
3) New cook who is burning bread…
4) Desserts at the same prcice but 30% smaller
We understand that everything is costing them more money.. but loosing customers is not good for business.

Lunch was quiet today, but the food was really good. Had monte cristo, breakfast poutine and kids pancakes. All tasted really good. Pancakes were fresh anf fluffy, monte cristo was well made and fries were the best!

Went for lunch with my mom, she had the mushroom burger and loved it. I had the caesar wrap and it was great! The little robot was very joyous but really the service was perfect. Definitely recommend

First time eating at Jay Bee’s Diner. Ordered pizza to go and ate their hot wings in restaurant. The wings were adequate… slightly overcooked and not much meat for 10 wings at $16. I went in at 1600 during a slow time. Had I been asked how the wings were before I scarfed them down, I would have mentioned my concerns… but I waited too long to eat lunch and was ready to eat my left foot. The accompanying celery looked fresh, but was disappointingly spongy. The carrots and ranch dip were fresh and crisp. The waitress was incredibly personable. It’s a shame they said they’d be removing the pizza from the menu because it’s honestly one of the better crusts and sauces I’ve had. Pizza was 10/10 for sure. Highly recommend. Ordered the carrot cake to go and it was also quite delicious… moist, nutty with a hint of coconut. I will return for a main meal or breakfast sometime!

We have now been to Jay Bee's three times. The food that we have had each time is outstanding. Their spaghetti sauce is excellent (*almost* as good as mine). Their hamburgers are delicious and their fries, even though fries are fries, are really good. Jay Bee's has become one of our favourite places to eat out. Their robot adds and element of fun to the experience!

Unfortunately, seems over the past couple of years the quality in breakfast as well as the owners greed are getting the best of this place.
No matter how you ask your eggs to be done, expect either barely cooked or completely hard boiled.
Service staff are and remain exceptional which definitely is a nice touch.
As for the owner, clearly greed is striking here considering prices have not only gone up numerous times, but the simple fact that for FROZEN deep fried potatoes, they want to charge $2 per plate, although it takes absolutely no effort and is probably their most cost effective side choice, considering you can buy a big bag from Costco for what the price of 4 plates worth costs. If you avoid getting those, you end up with bland potatoes that have little to no flavour and are also over cooked…

Pretty pathetic for a first time experience. Ordered a to go cowboy, over easy with white bread.
Pretty simple stuff. Eggs were over well dry as a rock. Toast and sausage great, bacon burnt. I know times are changing and places have different standards but ordering food is a customer service job to give the consumer a quick and easy experience saving them time.... well, if someone has a to go order... perhaps include at least one napkin.... include or at the very least ask, would you like cutlery. None of it hapenned and when I asked for cutlery apparently a spoon is all i could get. Won't be back to have this experience again.
