Dark was overpriced for what you get. They didn’t utilize any portions of the historic buildings and restricted the events to the warehouse spaces. Long lines and understaffed.
Highly recommend . I go every year and can say it’s my favourite. The staff this year were very polite and accommodating. I screamed and yelled so much I lost my voice . Always a good time out with friends or family . Highly recommend. They have fire pits where you can sit and keep warm . Or the movie theatre where you can watch old fashion black and white movies and eat .
Dark was amazing!!! It was our first time and we brought four kids (14-19)with us. We got there early 6 pm and read all of the websites do’s and dont’s to ensure we didnt have any issues. We had a few drinks before the main gates opened, interacted with the characters who were extremely personable after being scary, We even helped a few make some great scares, The haunts were decent for a group of six as we were so close together and still got scared, there was character entertainment on the one haunt that was delayed so it did not feel long, food trucks were good and wide selection, the theatre gave a chance to take a break, fires to warm up where needed. We didn’t get fast passes and we were able to do all the haunts in a few hours leaving room to go back on the favorites. It was a 5/5 experience, Thank you we all enjoyed it!
Took my kids and they had a blast, the characters in the fort were very knowledgeable and entertaining. My two kids enjoyed the food at the restaurant, which was tasty and came out so fast. If I could share pictures you would see huge smiles on the pony rides. They also were able to play all the games until they got bored because they were free with admission. We will come again.
There aren’t many places in the world where you can ride a turn-of-the-century tram to a restaurant, enjoy breakfast, tour a beautiful park, and return on a steam train—all for just $42 per person. Yes, park admission is included!
As for the brunch, the ambiance was wonderful and the food was outstanding. The smoked salmon eggs Benedict and the omelet were as good as any I’ve had at top restaurants. If you're looking for a great date idea, it doesn't get much better than this.

Definitely more of a brunch ( eggs, toast, cinnamon buns etc) but the food was delicious (specially the egg Benedicts), and the servers (I was helped by Polina and another who sadly had no name tag) were all very polite.

Went with my fam and when i asked about gluten free options the manager flat out told me they had nothing could not accommodate at all and also saying that they do cary gluten free bread. She was not very polite or accommodating so I got to sit hungry as my family all enjoyed thier meals because she said she could not accommodate someone who was celiac. Even when i asked if theg could clean and prepare my meal separately from the rest. Would not recommend if you have dietary restrictions.

We went for Father's day brunch and visited Fort Edmonton Park after, as the cost of the buffet includes admission.
The food was really good and so was the service. Sure, it's not what you'd get if you went somewhere else and spent $40 on the buffet alone, but then you wouldn't get admission to the park. No complaints here at all. Will visit again.

Scammer alert!!! Went to a Mother's Day brunch, which was massively overpriced to start out with. I told the waiter that I was in a rush and needed to pay the bill. Obviously he put in a 20% tip in for himself -- obviously he deserves the $45 that he tacked onto my bill for a buffet? I phoned them, and have heard nothing back from them so far.
I can afford it, but this is far more about punishment of thieves than about money. I'll be letting City of Edmonton police know about this too, incase this is a trend.

Extremely disappointed with communication and not clear posting/warning when purchasing tickets online. No face paint allowed on Halloween? I witnessed multiple women being turned away after spending hours on their make up only to be told To wash it off or go home? You guys really should have made that CLEAR ONLINE when purchasing tickets. I ubered down there just to be turned away. I won’t be back and I feel very sorry for the young ladies I watched have to wash of their make up. I understand for safety reasons masks might not be allowed but your face paint rule is bogus. You guys need to plan and organize better what a waste of my Halloween. I would have just gone to deadmonton!
I wish I could say something good about this restaurant. The pulled pork sandwich was small, unimpressive, and somehow boring. The truffle fries were weirdly flavoured. The nachos had queso instead of baked cheese, and lacked hot peppers. My son ordered gravy for his fries; it arrived at the table cold and had a skin on it. The coffee was very stale. And lastly, why in the heck can't you add poutine as a side to your sandwich, when you actually have poutine on the menu?!

I recently had a special day with my two adult children and six month grandchild and we chose to go to fort edmonton. Needless to say we left without seeing half the park. I contacted them via email about my concerns and they blocked me without even acknowledging my message. In my mind that was extremely distasteful and made up my mind that i will never go back, nor will i recommend this place again. When a place cannot even rectify a situation it tells me there are more problems witb how it is ran. All it would of taken was acknowledging my message. Here is what i wrote to them “Good morning! My name is Lori and am out of stettler. Yesterday, which was August 17, 2024, myself, my two adult children and my six month old grandson attended the park. It is sad to say that the park was so over ridden with wasps that we couldnt see it all. We left early without going on the train, the wagon or seeing the fort. At one point my grandson had 15-20 wasps swarming him. I looked for bag traps for wasps and only saw one. And in one location on a house i saw spray. We also were met with some rude workers. The one managing the hammer strength test in the midway minimized the excitement of the visit when my son jokingly said the hammer thing was rigged. The worker replied disgusted, why would it matter it it was rigged. Did you pay for it. No then it doesnt matter. It isnt klondike days. Then following that there was a filipino man who wanted to test his strength and the worker laughed at him and said not in those. Why do u think i would let u do this wearing those shoes. We thot he was joking. But nope he made the man leave because he was wearing crocs and finished thw conversation saying what do u think we want a law suit All around the whole experience was horrible. The part of the park we wanted to see was the fort. So, I was wondering if you could either reimburse me for the three adult entries or give us three more adult entries, so we can go to the fort when the wasps are under control Thanks for your attention to this matter. I really appreciate it” I give zero stars all the way around
This was such a wonderful experience. My friends and I were pleasantly surprised by the brunch here. Many amazing options, all delicious and of course includes park admission.
The service was outstanding. Great servers, very polite and considerate.
