Went this place an hour before closing, the mood gives me cozy asian place, and the food from there was giving me throwback of authentic sushi from tokyo trip. I am impressed because I never found such an authentic and high quality restaurant in Edmonton before visiting here, and the owner, she was so kind and nice as well.

went there late night, restaurant was fairly empty. ambiance was really tranquil and the soft music playing in the background was soothing. the sushi was prepared well, as the pieces held together very well. there was plenty of fish inside the roll, so there wasn’t an imbalance of rice to seafood ratio. the fish was fresh and the sauces added a great flavour profile to the different pieces we tried.

This place is a hidden gem. The food is absolutely surreal. I've eaten sushi my whole life and this is easily the tastiest.

The restaurant was kinda nice and it was clean and our server was very kind. BUT the food was terrible! And the wait was SO LONG considering we were the only people there. I heard the microwave constantly going off so I figured they were reheating food in it. The edamame clearly nuked in the microwave, the shrimp for the Dynamite Rolls microwaved as well and the gyoza, also microwaved. You could just tell the food wasn’t fresh. The spicy salmon roll was odd and it was doused in franks red or some sort of hot sauce which was new to me. I didn’t finish my meal at all and I was scared of getting sick. I personally will not be returning to this restaurant.

Unlike Kabuki South, the 109th location is a terrible experience every time. The South location closes earlier, so sometimes I find myself here. Most recently, I found a long, black hair in my roll. I’ve also waited two hours for a skip order consisting of two items, ordered at 10pm on weeknight - not peak busy hours! Terrible. I can’t sing the other location’s praises enough, but 109th Street Kabuki sucks.

I ordered on Uber eats and I am from BC and I have been craving sushi good sushi in Edmonton Alberta I have tried various places I didn't know this one existed there's one thing I was searching for and that was sockeye salmon you won't find that very commonly in Edmonton that's the only type of salmon that I like and they make and use it I had a delicious Alaska roll with smoked salmon on top asparagus and I think it had cream cheese in it it was absolutely delicious and I had some nigiri salmon nigiri sockeye sandwich and the Misty soup is good and they have the best sunonomo salad and they make a good kimchi too I would recommend this restaurant if you're looking for a good Japanese food in Edmonton
