Great place. We showed up 30 minutes before they were supposed to close. Technically the kitchen was closed already, but they fit us in.Service was fast. Noodles were tasty.I'll definitely go back.

The ramen and beef tataki was excellent. Service was quick and very friendly. They helped us with the menu and made us feel very welcome. They make the broth and takai marinade, we think it is the best takai in Edmonton.Note they are cash and debit only right now.Dietary restrictions: They make everything on the menu so they could ensure our choice was lactose free.

We ordered the Tonkotsu ramen, Tonkotsu Black Garlic ramen, and the Japanese Cream Soda. The Tonkutsu Black Garlic ramen was ok, but it wasn't hot enough (just luke warm). The Tonkotsu ramen broth was very bland and didn't taste like Tonkotsu. It tasted more like a watered-down chicken soup. The noodle itself was ok but didn't taste very fresh. Service was quick but they were a little bit rude - it felt like they were trying to rush everything and kicked us out. Food was ready in 5 minutes, we finished our food in 10 minutes. We were in and out within 20 minutes. If you are in a hurry and craving ramen, this place might be for you. But if you prefer to take your time and have quality ramen, I recommend going to a different ramen restaurant.

I got the Tonkotsu Black and I thought it was bland and very one noted. Needed more flavour in my opinion. Services was fine, restaurant was also clean.

I was craving ramen one day and decided to try a new place. I got the tonkatsu ramen with extra noodles and it hit the spot. I chose the wrong type of pork though, it did not have enough fat on it which I personally feel really pulls the ramen together. The service was quick and concise, and the atmosphere was very casual. To add, they only take debit and cash, which I though was a little weird but not the end of the world.Good spot for ramen!

Been here a numerous number of times and it is always our go-to ramen spot!! Hands down the best ramen restaurant in the city. For a period of time, my boyfriend and I thought it actually shut down because it was showing up on google as closed… we were devastated lol! We had to go to different spots for ramen due to this but nothing could truly beat this place!! Thank God we were wrong and it is in fact still open. The chicken karaage is delicious with the spicy mayo. I have recently brought my best friend here to try ramen for the first time and she absolutely loved it! She was not disappointed.

The prices are definitely on the higher side here. For how much I paid, I expected a more premium tasting ramen. Also, I was quite underwhelmed with the 3-4 pieces of pork I was given for my Spicy Goma soup. Felt like the ramen was instant ramen. My wife enjoyed her black garlic ramen. Has pretty good flavour. Beef tataki was pretty decent. Overall, I doubt I'd come back.

My recent visit to Kazoku was underwhelming, meriting only a 2-star rating. The food, unfortunately, did not live up to expectations with flavors that felt flat and uninspired, especially given the premium pricing. Speaking of costs, the prices seemed unjustifiably high for the quality of the dishes served. Additionally, the service did not do much to elevate the experience, with staff members appearing disengaged and slow to respond to requests. Overall, Kazoku missed the mark on delivering a memorable dining experience, leading me to look elsewhere for quality Japanese cuisine in the future.

Came in with high expectations but came out utterly dissapointed. The "creamy" pork bone broth was actually thickend by cornstarch which had a really gross texture for a ramen broth, the flavor of the broth was almost none other than the strong flavors of seasame oil and white pepper. And on top of that it was under seasoned which makes it taste even more gross. It just tastes like bad Chinese food. I will never come back to this restaurant ever again in my life and if you do go there you are just getting scammed.
