In my opinion, the best Chinese food in the city. We have ordered from here several times since we first discovered them and we've never been disappointed. The food is always fresh and tasty, delivery is fast and the prices are reasonable. I would recommend King's Garden to anyone looking for great Chinese food.
EDIT- 8 years later and this is still our go-to for Chinese food!

Did an uber eats and it was probably one of the worst ever fried rice I have ever had. I had even requested for some sauce to be added ...soy or any but nope it was just boiled shrimos and bits of egg simply combined with 20 pieces of peace...no other veggies, no flavours ...not even onion or garlic. It was more like boiled and sprinkled with oil.

Great food.. one of the best for Chinese. Fast service, looks clean with OK decor. Not really a dine-in place since covid. Mostly just pick up and Skip/Uber drivers coming and going!

While visiting Edmonton I was looking for a good place to get Chinese takeout food. With good reviews on Google, I decided to try Kings Garden. They called to confirm my online order, and said they would include free spring rolls. The food was ready at the time indicated, and pick up was quick and easy. My group all thoroughly enjoyed the food we got (ginger beef, chicken fried rice, shrimp with mixed greens, and beef with broccoli and mushrooms). Highly recommend!

This charming restaurant was a wonderful experience. It has an inviting vintage vibe, very friendly service & delicious food. The portion sizes are also awesome! Excited for my leftovers tomorrow.

We’ll definitely be back :)

Absolutely tasteless. Ginger beef had blobs of gristle and soggy. Awful awful awful

Great food. Tasty and lots of it. The dinner for two can easily feed four. We arrived mid-afternoon and the two cooks were tripping over each other in the kitchen as everything was on our table in five minutes. We barely ate half at the table and took the rest home. You can't go wrong eating here. We highly recommend the beef and broccoli.

My family has lived in a Riverbend for 40 years. We love this place. Ate take out tonight and wow it was still amazing. Delicious ginger beef and chicken with black bean sauce!

I wish real ginger was used food instead of powered one. I can cook better food then what was served to me by King's Garden. Food tasted awful. When you take money from people, serve them good food because you're not giving them for free. I'm wondering if there is a new owner or a new cook. You can get better tasting chinese food in food court

The king has fallen. This place has been extremely disappointing recently... soggy lemon chicken, sauceless ginger beef. Save your money and move on, cause the king is dead and the usurper still charges a heavy levy.

Fried noodles were dry and hard. Service was poor.

Honestly the WORST Chinese I’ve ever had. It showed up fast which was nice but they obviously missed adding flavour to every dish we received. Our chowmein was still hard and our sweet and sour pork was actually completely flavourless and same with the ginger beef. There was a tiny hint of ginger but that was it. Inedible and went in the garbage. Unfortunate because Chinese is twice or three times a year. 0 stars
