There was no greeting when you walk. Took them half an hour to get some food out and there is utensils for my kids 3 & 5 unless you asked for folk. I think they think my kids know how to use chop sticks. The sashimi quite expensive, 11 pieces for $31. Also they didn’t provide any wasabi and ginger with sashimi order. The atmosphere little too dark.

We used to love going to Kobe whenever we were in West Edmonton. Menu has changed since we been there. Things we wanted were not availavle at the time. It seems the owner is changed. I don't know. It is not Authentic Japanese restaurant I used to love anymore.

Walk in to have a dinner group of 5, owner behind counter said that they just made a last call at 8:45 … But it was only at 8:41 .. I said .. He looked puzzled and speechless .. Never come back to this restaurant again .. i was Loyal customer for the past 15 years Supporting local business … Cannot wait for the Owners response!!

First time back here after a few years now. Wasn’t the same for sure. Food was good but price was on the heavy side. Service was ok, the server couldn’t be bothered to say you’re welcome or thank you and the atmosphere wasn’t very comfy where you felt at home kind of thing. Don’t know if I’ll be back again unless I’m really craving the Volcano Roll.

The food is consistently good here - however, I am extremely annoyed at the fact that they short change you big time with soy sauce on take out orders. We ordered enough sushi for about 7 people - total takeout bill of almost $200, and we received 5 packets of soy sauce. In what world is 5 soy sauces enough for that much sushi? My fault for not opening the double knotted take out bag to confirm, but you would think the individuals doing this would at least give you enough sauce to have a proper meal of sushi. Now we are left with a bunch of sushi and no soy sauce. Very annoying.

Delicious food! Do not sleep on this place. Best gyoza I’ve ever had. I ordered the Kobe Steak Dinner for my main and every element was done beautifully. Tender steak, balanced salty sauce, mushrooms and broccoli cooked perfectly. Incredibly fast service from very friendly staff that are so happy to help you. The dining area is clean and has lots of natural light. Generous portions and very reasonable prices. I will definitely be back when I’m in the area.

I visited this restaurant for the first time today and I have to say, it was an absolute disaster. From the moment I walked in, it was clear that this place is a total mess. The staff seemed completely disorganized, and it took forever just to be greeted - I’ve received much better service from high school teenagers working at McDonald’s.
When the food finally did arrive, it was beyond disappointing.
To top it all off, the atmosphere was completely lacking. The decor was outdated and shabby, and there was no ambiance to speak of.
Overall, I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. Save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Unfortunately I ordered with door dash and my food was not good. The passion rolls had to be thrown out— they tasted like gas likely from the torch being off. They were totally inedible. I spent ~$70 and unfortunately I didn’t eat most of it. Hopefully they can rectify the issue and let me try again.
