This is yet another unique place that gives us a wonderful ambience, food, and service. We sat in the private cabins, which gave us different seating arrangements. We dined on Beef Shogayaki, Squid Karaage, Katsu Don, and Teriyaki Chicken. Mouth watering appetizers along with tatsy main course. It's a 10 on 10 experience.

Kyoto - Garneau has been one of my favourite Japanese restaurants since 2014. They have a wide selection of good quality items that come in great portions at amazing prices. Overall 9/10. Strongly recommend:- Bento- Grilled Hamachi Collar: Often out of stock- Sashimi, i.e. Sashimi Boat- Chirashi

I've been there for three time with friends and this place always have a good quality of food in my view. I always order a bento box with salmon (teriyaki, tempura and sashimi all goes with salmon~yummy) only $22. The price is reasonable for a student. Compared to quality and amount is worthy to try. The bento box served with salad, miso soup and steamed rice a very good combination. They also have a fresh fruit prepared in that box too. The staffs are very nice and the service was excellent. They have a parking lots infront of the restuarant. If you're living around this area, recommend to try!

I’m writing this review because I waisted my time coming all the way from the south side to come eat here. They say their open in google, however upon arrival the put up a small peice of paper saying that they were “now closed on Monday’s” that’s not an issue to me but put that up on google for new customers that are coming to eat here.

We arrived at 8:00pm looking at the 10pm close time, but the server didn’t let us in, because they said that they had a busy day today. I understand we came with 7 people, but to reject a customer not even at closing time really disappointed me. I probably won’t recommend this place if you want to come as a group since the server will give you a dirty look.

I have been going to this place for about 10 years. Sushi is always fresh and delicious. Owners are super kind. The prices and reasonable and the food is delicious. Great atmosphere for friends to get together and enjoy some great food! Awesome lunch menu! I usually get the Bento box with teriyaki chicken and sashimi (tuna and salmon). I also love the maximite roll, momiji, spicy tuna, california, dynamite. After writing this I am craving it and am going to go again
I can't remember what I got but it was really good, I really like that. I been a here couples times and it's a nice restaurant.The lady that took my order was very nice and welcoming. There is a pizza place next door too. I got a slice next door while waiting for my order :)
