Love Kyoto Sushi. Very charming atmosphere, friendly service and great food. It fast became our favourite neighborhood sushi spot. A hidden gem in Edmonton.

Unfortunately the worst sushi I’ve ever had. The “deluxe” sashimi was laughably small, but that was a blessing in disguise because the fish was chewy and not fresh.

Spent $65 to not be full and to have unsettled stomachs. At least there were nice decorations…
I can’t wait for Sushi Aroma to be open again in a few weeks.

We LOVE Kyoto! Rhea (don’t know if I’m spelling her name right) is a lovely human! She’s kind and goes along with our crazy antics of picking different rolls. And we have favorites because of her suggestions! Their miso soup is flavourful, edamame comes hot which we love, and we also order the sashimi sampler ! Their Crispy Kyoto and Tropical have been our go to rolls for weeks! They are adaptive to my food restriction of no fish eggs. 10/10 we DO recommend! We love Kyoto and the atmosphere! It’s our go to spot for sushi!

Over night fish, taste old, fishy smell. Air smells old rug inside the restaurant. Food taste horrible, search the price online it is cheap price so thought I’d give it a try. It’s pretty much 50% cheaper cost than everywhere else but why even pay for it and throw it away.

Confused what to get? Trying sushi / rolls for the first time?
Go with California rolls.

Their Miso soup is good too.
The prices are genuine, they have vegetarian options too.

I ordered $70.00 worth of food. The quality and taste was poor. I tried a bite of each thing and then threw away the whole order.
