Went for buffet. I seen rendang on the menu. My national dish (Indonesia). I was surprised! The chef cook it so good!!! Dessert was all yummy. Especially crème brûlée. Staff were nice and polite. I will come back for sure.
Location: near CoCo bubble tea (2nd floor), or come from hotel lobby and then go to L2 lounge 2nd floor
Fantastic meal with the wife & kids, had the family special and the service/food was perfect. Couldn't fault a single thing. Himanshu was a great host as well and loved the venue. Leaving happy and will be back again soon.
Stopped in and had a beer and the 6oz Steak with vegetables and mashed potatoes. Would highly recommend. Good food, good staff and a very nice place. Hockey game was playing as well.
UMA was the best server we had while in Edmonton. We had a party of 17 and she handled it with grace and a great sense of humour. We will definitely be back. Food was exceptional as well. She deserves a raise.
It was my first time here, and I wasn't disappointed!
All the staff were polite, kind, and curteous. We were also given prompt service as soon as we'd sat down.
It only costs just over $20 per person, and I had to take some of my food to go as I couldn't finish it all.
The decor was beautiful with bookshelves lining the walls.
It's also child friendly!
Loved our breakfast here. Very friendly, quick service. Delicious food!
Nice decor in the restaurant. Eggs, hash browns, toast, sausages were decent. My daughter got the pancakes which weren't great. She couldn't finish them, I took one bite and understood why. Overcooked on the sides and not great tasting. Corn syrup instead of maple syrup with the prices was a disappointment. The service was definitely lacking. Seemed well enough staffed, but lots of unnecessary waiting and restaurant goers looking for someone to help them. Seems like some staff that may be new to food service industry. Staying in the hotel for 4 nights and did not go back after one visit.
Almost inedible, we were staying at fantasy land hotel ordered $250 dollars worth of room service and we were thoroughly disgusted. Fantasyland advertises a great family experience but knows where to skimp for profits. Just another tourist trap. I miss the days when the mall gave a shit about providing qualiry for patrons.
Eggs Benedict base was too hard to even cut. the prime rib was tough. The yorkshire puddings were hard little lumps. Food cold. Deserts were the best part. Children fighting next to us on the bench seat. Waitress did not say a word to them. Mother on phone all the time. Kids reaching for food on buffet with hands. WE WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.
We had dinner at L2 Grill on Friday evening, and I strongly recommend this family-friendly restaurant. Bourbon Street was very crowded, but here we were able to get a seat without a reservation.
Our children were starving, but they brought the kids' meals soon after we ordered, which was really helpful. Surprisingly, you don’t have to pay for the kids' meals if adults order from the main menu. The free kids' meals include a choice of main and sides from six options each, and they taste really good and are healthy.
For dessert, my daughter ordered the rainbow cake. Although it looks artificial, its taste was very natural. Most cakes in Canada tend to be too sweet, but you don’t need to worry about sugar overload in this restaurant.
Our server Uma was so nice and kind. Thanks to her, we really enjoyed dinner with little kids.

Great moment with Uma who did a very great job. We recommand her.
I'll start by saying we honestly avoided this place last time here because there is a lounge downstairs from it sharing a name (L1 and L2) and we don't drink. Big mistake.
The atmosphere is very family friendly and relaxing. The staff were extremely pleasant and more than happy to help out or even just chat about the restaraunt and even the details on the desserts they had.
For the food, it was pretty dang good. Around the table in no particular order we had wings, ribeye steak, fish and chips, steak sandwich, and moon burger. Everything was a hit and there were no complaints about any aspect of our meal.
I'd like to specifically mention Himanshu K. who helped us out at two separate occasions today. We first went by and tried a dessert and checked out the menu to see what the place was about. He was helpful and was more than happy to answer all our questions. We were very pleased returning for dinner to see he was still there and seated us as well as served/took our orders.
Definitely do not pass this place by, it isn't just an extension of the lounge downstairs as some restaraunts and bars are, it's a great standalone place and has wonderful staff and fun decor.
Great service, great food, our server Yash was amazing!
This experience was wonderful. After a long trip the Grill 2 in West Edmonton Mall was a fantastic place to relax and snack at. I would highly advise it for the terrific experience with the great staff and great food. The hostess UMA G was a joyful, very knowledgeable lady. She answered all our questions and with her smile, we felt at home, relaxed and comfortable. She was fabulous and helped make this trip one that we will not forget. Thank you UMA G. The food here was terrific. We had the nacho's and the dessert which was beautifully presented, tasted divine and filling. The Chai tea was a perfect match with the snack. We will definitely visit here in the future and we sure hope to see UMA G again.
