Food and products are spectacular. The owners of La Catrina are outstanding and kind people. A small business that truly deserves community support!

Probably one of the worst owners I have ever met. A worker at bountiful gave me the wrong product and when I called the owner to exchange, she said I can do a one time exchange. 20 minutes later as I’m on the way she tells me her worker told another story and she will not be accommodating the exchange. I do not eat meat and now I’m left with 2 burritos with bacon when I explicitly asked for no meat. Had she said no in the beginning, fine- but to tell me you’ll make an exception then call me 20 mins later to tell me you won’t? That’s not how you do business.

Great food. Good portions for a good price. Check them out when you see them around.

Grabbed several chicken and pork tamales, as well as chips, salsa and guacamole at the Farmer's Market in Edmonton yesterday. Made them for dinner tonight. Holy hell; delicious is not the word! We will be back next week! I grew up in the Southwest, and LOVE traditional tamales; these do NOT disappoint!

Absolutely delicious. Not much is better than coming home after a busy day and having gorgeous homemade food in the freezer that’s ready to pop in the oven and ready in less than 30 mins.We had the empanadas, taquitos. And the TO DIE FOR tamales. We will definitely be stocking up again next time we are in Edmonton at the Bountiful Farmer’s Market.

Friendly service. Great churro cookies
I only went there at the downtown farmers market. Was told a price and then was charged a higher price. Probably shouldn’t have trusted the amount I was being charged without verifying before tapping my card. However, the salsa was amazing, so there’s that at least. In response to owner: yes mistakes can happen, but telling me there is a special for $10 and charging $14 doesn’t seem like a mistake, more like a choice. Hence the low rating.
First time having Brirria tacos, omg I'm in heaven. Amazing tacos and the hot salsa wasn't too hot, it had the right certain kick to it. Would recommend and want to come back to try other items.
So far I’ve only been to their store and shop in Old Scona Farmer’s market, but they are amazing! The Empanadas, Tortilla chips, and Salsa’s are all to die for. Such kind people, everything seems to be home made with lots of care.

I bought some chicken empanadas at the Nosh food fest last weekend. Baked them for my husband and I and we devoured them! They turned out fantastic!
Stopped by La Catrina the other day at the Bountiful Market and grabbed the Beef Burrito's and Salsa Taquera. The salsa was nearly devoured in one sitting and the burrito's are beyond amazing. I will definitely be going back to this place again.
What a gem! We love everything we have tried so far from the tender, yummy empanadas to the taco soup and the “I am at a taco restaurant in Mexico “ tacos. Salsas are outstanding. We can’t wait to grab our taco pack for family dinners!
