I ordered a berry Fraisier cake and picked it up today at Bountiful, one of the best i have tried of its kind!
I used to come here pretty much weekly. Cute cafe, great pastries.
BUT. Their prices have shot up like mad over the past few months. $7.50 for a little tarte, day-olds are now only 10% off (used to be 25%), and they even charge 50 cents for a teensy bit of cream in your coffee now!! For an outing with a friend, say two tartes and two coffees, you're looking at over $20 now (and that's before tip).
Even if the pastries are good quality and I want to support locally-owned bakeries like this one, this is not an expense I can add to my tab on a weekly basis anymore. I will be seeking out other cafes where I get a bit more bang for my buck.
Just stopped in this Morning with my co worker and everything was amazing 𤩠I truly appreciate Local šØš¦šØš¦ t I have tried the cafĆ© latte. It was amazing. Also, the croissant chocolate and I need to go back for more love love love thank you thank you thank you beautiful atmosphere friendly owner.
Iāve visited this place multiple times since itās close to where I live, and Iāve always enjoyed my experiencesāespecially when dealing with the owners and other staff. However, during my visit at 4 p.m. on Sunday, I encountered an employee who was extremely rude.
I asked for a milkshake from the menu, and she abruptly told me they donāt have those. When I asked for clarificationāsince it was listed on the menuāshe said she couldnāt make it because there was no blender. When I proceeded to check out, she was short and unpleasant, and when I asked for a receipt, she appeared frustrated and tossed it in front of me.
I understand anyone can have an off day, but if this had been my first visit, I would not have returned based on this interaction alone.
Omg!! Best sandwich ever!! Thought $8 for a quarter sandwich was a tad much⦠but that was worth it! The bread on site looked like it was going to be hard but was super soft and super yummy! Will definitely be back
Amazing food. Friendliest of service and they donate back to the community weekly, does it get any better? Seriously though la french is a must try.
Lovely place on 95th. Great coffee and wonderful pastry, especially the French cinnamon rolls. Out of this world. They also have a booth at Bountiful Market. The space is bright and airy. Noise level good for conversation. We go often.
Excellent quality!
If you hadnāt already tried La French Tatse then you better get on it because Iāve never tasted anything better in my life! They r my neighbour at the 124th street market and I always see their products and it makes me hungry just looking at it! Everything tasted super fresh and made me want to keep coming back for more. The staff is also super friendly!! 10/10 would recommend to everyone!!
We visited their shop at the Bouniful Farmers Market and got some bread, buns, and pastries. Everything was fresh and delicious, with my favourite being the pistache cornetto. The staff was so friendly; I will be back!

I had ordered a Yule log cake for our Christmas Eve dessert and it was a hit. My husband even asked me where I got it bc he liked it so much. I had ordered other desserts to drop off by my parentās place as well. My family truly enjoyed them all. Service was amazing. Thank you guys.

As I left the Christmas market I heard a āBonjourā and immediately Iām sold. Me and my sister originally noticed her pain au chocolat but my eyes met this sweet cream dulce filled brioche and I knew we were soulmates. I ended up order that, my sister stuck with the pain au chocolat, and the lady was so sweet suggesting options for my dad. My dad was convinced and chose this chocolate almond pastry, and we all left with smiles on our faces. THESE WERE BUSSSS. Iām obviously going to become a regular at the actual bakery location, but wow it did not disappoint!

I respect this Bakery alot. They serve very tasty, high quality goods and the atmosphere is cozy. Not your typical pretentious cafe/bakery compared to other spots in the city that tend to overcharge. Don't let the location fool you ā you'll be surprised. My 'favourite' was the Dulce de Leche pastry muffin/cruffin? ššš»
Favourite bakery in Edmonton! Not in the best area of the city but definitely worth a visit. The mousse cakes and chouquettes are amazing.
