The seafood soup I had was adequate.
Generous portion of the shrimp & squid.
The major disappointment for me was the Singapore noodles I took to go.
The taste makes it almost inedible. The curry paste or powder spice they use is very coarse and I have never experienced a spice "burn"
like I did with this meal.
I have visited this restaurant several times before the lockdown however I won't be back.
Service was attentive I arrived after the lunch rush on a Thursday.
Simple clean decor.

Still one of the best sate phos in the city. Love this place!
I initially had a lower star rating due to their choice in rice. However they have since switched their rice and now it tastes and feels much better. Their food is excellent for a good price. The portion sizes are large enough to take home leftovers. Their vegan options are plentiful, do note that there is cross contamination in the kitchen, however animal products are not in the final dish. There is a vegetarian section at the end of the menu, of which most can be made vegan. Super friendly staff who know us by our regular orders. I love that they have complimentary tea (when asked). I have had family say that their non-vegan food is delectable and well made. They have a large variety of options in their menu. This is our go to place after a long hard day at work when i cannot find the energy go cook, or we just want to go for a date. Would recommend coming in instead of using a delivery app, they have to charge more on the apps and receive less profit.
Vegetarian options: Many vegetarian options, and many vegan options. The veggie menu is at the back of the menu (would recommend the ginger crispy tofu (ginger beef analog) and the green onion cakes.
Wheelchair accessibility: There is a small step at the entrance of the restaurant due to shifting. Can be overcome with some assistance. The rest of the floor plan is on a single level.

Best pho in the city! Have tried a few other places and always end up disappointed, but never here. My girlfriend and I always get a 25 regular and a 25 large, and share a side of spring rolls - the bill is always under $50 (including tax and a 20% tip). VERY generous portions, never skimpy on the beef or toppings. Where else could you get a dinner out with such good service for such an affordable price? The restaurant is extremely clean (including the bathrooms), the service is very good and it is clear the owners take pride in their business. Will continue to rave about la pagode as our favourite restaurant and our first choice for any dinner out

This was such a wonderful place for a solid meal! The portions are huge and for the price?? Such a steal. The service was superb, the owners are wonderful hardworking people and deserve the best. Overall, I highly recommend this place, I'll for sure be coming on a regular basis from now

Great experience. Service was awesome and food tasted great. I think this was the most generous serving I've seen for a vermicelli bowl ever. The bowl was overflowing with meat! Satay soup was really good as well, maybe a bit mild in terms of spice for my tastes but delicious nonetheless. Our waitress was also so nice to the kids and spoke with them often as she passed by our table. She even gave them some lollipops at the end of our meal. Small gestures like this are really appreciated and have made me a regular at La Pagode. I would highly recommend trying it out !

We were planning to go somewhere else but it’s closed that day and end up here. What a surprise. All the dishes we ordered tasted amazing. Will come back!

came in for dinner with some friends while we were on a time crunch and they were very accommodating! food came out fast and service was very friendly! the server accidentally brought a wrong food item and was VERY apologetic about it and offered to get us a new dish but we ended up loving what was brought out. after our meal, he gave us green onion cakes on the house for the mix up (which were sooo yummy). all in all this was a great experience for us! 10/10 would come back!

The fact that this hasn't come up as a suggestion when looking for a vegetarian place is crazy. Huge vegetarian section. Had the ginger beef and lemongrass tofu spicy and both were fabulous. The crunch on the ginger beef was fabulous and the flavors were balanced and bright in everything. Will be back for sure

BunBoHue was alright. Soup came out very hot, which is great. The soup isn't as spicy as I prefer it to be. Lemongrass taste not as strong as strong as some other great BunBoHues. Serving size is good. My wife enjoyed her Fookinese noodle soup.
