Lovely restaurant, staff is very friendly and helpful. Food was delicious, and drinks were great. The view is definitely fantastic, especially at night.

We had our Christmas dinner at La Ronde this past December, and unfortunately, it was a major disappointment.

We paid $150 per person upfront (approximately $1,400 total for our group) expecting a traditional turkey dinner, as that is how it was advertised. Naturally, at that price point and at a restaurant of this reputation, we anticipated a classic, elevated holiday meal.

What we received was not that. There were no mashed potatoes, no cranberry sauce on the table, and the stuffing — served as a small, dry portion on the side — was not enjoyable. The turkey itself was presented more like a turkey meatloaf than a traditional roasted turkey.

The overall quality and execution were simply below par, especially considering the cost. We did speak with the manager at the time and were offered a bottle of wine as compensation, but that did not feel proportional to the level of disappointment.

It is now February, and we are still discussing how underwhelming the experience was — which ultimately prompted me to write this review. We truly wanted a memorable and special Christmas dinner, but unfortunately, it was memorable for all the wrong reasons.

We hope this feedback is taken seriously, as expectations at this price point are understandably high

UPDATE: no manager has contacted me.
i went here for the first time despite knowing the bad reviews. i lowered down my expectations as i only wanted to surprise my friend for her birthday, and as expected, i won’t be returning. there was a short lineup upon arriving and even having a reservation, we had to wait about 10-15 mins to be seated. i thought the ambiance should be quiet and intimate, rather it felt like i was in a pub with the oilers game on. i ordered the purple rain cocktail (server didnt ask if i want a single or double alcohol) so it tasted like straight up carbonated juice. calamari didnt look appetizing and for $29, the portion was too small. for the mains, i got the prime rib and i asked to sub the mashed potatoes to fingerling potatoes, i didnt get that and because of the slow service, i let it pass. also, as you can see on the photo, the yorkshire pudding was missing and i had to ask for it. i asked for medium rare and it came out as medium well. the server never asked how the meals were and she was too busy, so again i sucked it up and barely touched my meal. $64 down the drain. my friend got the steak diana flambe but it failed. the server tried again and finally it flambe’d. oh and dont get me started on the dessert..

Had a fantastic pre-Valentines Day dinner at LaRonde, exceptional service by Collin (hope we got your name correct!). Attentive, well paced with the naturally friendly banter of a true professional.
We started with a delicious, crisp grilled caesar salad followed by Steak Diane and the crab stuffed dover sole. Both were subltly seasoned and tasty, as were the perfectly cooked accompanying vegetables. Where else can you get tableside flambe service these days? And dover sole in a beurre blanc?
Finished with an excellent baked Alaska and an assortment of sweets that were good but a not a must have, although I found myself wishing the tiny pot de chocolat creme was bigger - very nice.
Reminiscent of all the best of fine dining from the past from the lighting to the music, food and service. Not to mention the show of the revolving view.

It was our 19th Anniversary and amazing dinning experience sitting on 24th floor revolving around the downtown area with absolutely delicious food on table and very attentive helpful staff Mr .Jason . Chilled beer mocktails garlic prawns and steak were all good with an Anniversary special note Cake fusion .

I recently had a dinner experience here that didn't quite hit the mark. However, what happened next is what truly sets this restaurant apart. The manager reached out to me personally to apologize and invited us back to try their Sunday Brunch.
I am so glad we gave them another chance. The brunch was absolutely amazing—the food was delicious and the service was flawless. It is rare to find a business that cares this much about their customers and takes such proactive steps to ensure satisfaction. We went from a rough start to becoming big fans. Highly recommended for their food and their integrity.

FOOD TOO SALTY. Went here for a birthday dinner. The service was fine, however the food was very very salty. I ordered mushroom soup. All I could taste was salt. Returned it. They”made” another bowl. It too was just as salty. Returned that and ordered duck confit. Salty. Main couse was buffalo tenderloin. Not only was the sause salty, they put salt on all the veggies. I scraped the sauce to the side and off the meat. Could not eat the veggies ( carrots and fingerling potato) as it was like having a teaspoon of salt with each bite.
I think the cooks or “chefs” mistake salt as a spice or they do not know what spices to use. Too bad, because if they used 75% to 80% less salt, used appropriate spices and let the customers taste the food not the salt it would be good. Perhaps they should change cooks.

We had been there on different occasions in the past ( once a year)and the food was good. Not now.
