Excellent food and service.
Great view from top floor rotation restaurant.

Views were nice, food was delicious, and the service was great. My niece loved her meal so much that she was reluctant to share some parts of it with my sister.

The dessert was enough for three of us to share. It was a nice touch that they added a chocolate piece that said “Happy Birthday” on it since we were celebrating some birthdays.

If you book right at opening time, you’ll need to wait until just about the opening time for the elevator to work for the 24th floor. I appreciated that the parking garage was free for restaurant visitors. Given the high price of the experience, I’m not sure I’d be back anytime soon though.

Meal was fine, but not worth the $$$. Food was perfectly good, but nothing better than I would expect from an upscale chain like Moxies or the Keg, despite it costing 50% more. Menu itself is dated, represents what you’d expect from an upscale restaurant in the early 2000’s, and likely hasn’t been updated since (aside from the prices!)

Decor is equally as dated, lots of scuffed wood and stained menus, and there was a LOT of dirt around the roof vents - normally not a huge issue but if you’re paying $150+ per person for a meal you expect better! Definitely needs a full renovation!

Service was great, albeit the manager/Maître D gave off not great vibes. We witnessed him loudly (and inappropriately in my opinion) scold a server over a polished glass he didn’t feel was up to snuff - right in front of guests.

Overall this feels like a steakhouse that hasn’t changed in 20 years except for the prices, and is clinging to its gimmick of a rotating restaurant (which IS a good gimmick) to draw in customers.

Glad I went, but won’t be back. Far too expensive for what you get, you can pay the same at a restaurant like Rge Rd and have a much better experience. La Ronde needs a refresh in every sense of the term.

We celebrated my mom and dad’s birthdays here. With a party of 24 people, our group was definitely a handfull for the server. But the experience here was near perfect! Dean, our server was great, very friendly. He was really good at establishing rapport and maintaining the friendly attitude to everyone including the kids! Christopher was great as well! I could tell the crew here is well trained.

Food was 10/10 as well! The whole group enjoyed the entree’s.

The only downside was the receptionist Jay Lin (I think that’s his name). He was the only one that showed annoyance the moment we got off the elevator. I know we have kids but it is inappropriate for him to call out our kids in front of the parents. Not a good first impression of the place to be honest. If it weren’t for Dean and Christopher, we woild have a bad experience overall. Both of them did an exceptional job handling a big group. Kudos to both and the kitchen crew as well.

Will definitely recommend and come back here. I just hope there’s a different welcoming receptionist next time.

We went for the brunch buffet and had a really nice time. We enjoyed the food, the ambience, and especially the 360 view of the city skyline and river valley.
The receptionist was a bit poker-faced, but our server was super friendly, which made up for it!
The buffet had a wide variety of options, even for me as a vegetarian.
Price-wise, it’s a bit expensive for an average Joe like me, but honestly, I think it’s worth it.
This is a 1960s building, so expect mid-century architecture rather than a modern design.

Great food. Liked bison fillet. Cool flaming table service for steak Diane and baked Alaska. One spin around in course of dinner. Not cheap, but worth trying at least once. Free, easy parking.

Very expensive for the food quality. The food was just OK. Celebrated a birthday for a family member. The complimentary dessert was a few berries, squirt of whip cream and a chocolate. Seemed cheap considering the cost of the meal! Loved the view and the waiter who was excellent. The restaurant hasn’t been updated since I was last there about 20 years ago that I could see. Much too expensive for food quality in my opinion.

We went to LA Ronde to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday, and it did not disappoint. Our server, Jason S, was excellent and his attention to detail along with his winning personality was amazing! Highly recommend the Prome Rib, as well as the New York Steak. Not to mention the views of the city were excellent.

I love this place 😊 although they seem to be getting people in and out faster than they did a few years ago. We want to enjoy the view lol.

It was fantastic for adults and lacking in menu options for children and toddlers.
