I stopped at the Dr Office! Came for a hot coffee on a cold day! The coffee was spectacular! As I’m sitting and drinking I see an eclair donut. Last time I seen an eclair was 2009 and decided to try it. Wasn’t as I remembered it. Back in 2009 it’s like a long John donut but with whipped cream. This isn’t a donut. The crust is like a pie very dense to chew the whipped cream wasn’t very whipped. Not worth the 5$. But the coffee was awesome.

We came here for a morning coffee because I heard they serve some of the best in Edmonton, and it did not disappoint. The coffee was excellent and the food was delicious.
That being said, the customer service was quite off-putting. The staff member who assisted us was veryyyyyy unwelcoming and came across as grumpy, which made the experience less enjoyable. I understand it can be stressful if someone is working alone, but a bit of warmth goes a long way, especially in a café setting.
I had seen coffee art featured in other reviews, but it was not available during my visit. While I understand that each barista has their own style, it was a little disappointing that something customers have come to expect is not consistently offered here.
Overall, the coffee and food were fantastic, and since I live nearby I will likely return. However, I will probably choose a different café if I notice the same staff member working.

Recently, my friends and I visited Lavazza Cafe to enjoy some coffee. We placed our order, which included two coffees and a pie. However, the coffees were served in paper cups, and there were no forks, knives, or napkins provided for the pie. We had to go and request these items ourselves.

We could have placed the same order at other cafes such as Tim Hortons or McDonald’s, but we chose your establishment because we believed it offered a pleasant atmosphere and quality service. Even though the total cost was $17.50 — an amount we know could be almost halved at other places — we were willing to pay more for a better experience. Unfortunately, the service and hospitality fell short of our expectations.

Highly recommend this cafe on the north side of the city which is easy to find with plenty of parking; First time for me to frequent this strip mall for an appointment at the medical clinic and with some free time on hand prior to lunch, Lavazio Cafe was spotted. Very happy to find a wonderful cafe even if not in my neighbourhood and worth the visit. We had latte which was excellent and served with flair and friendliness. The customer service is excellent and the owner Ash is extremely friendly along with the staff. The owner took the time to come over and introduce himself showcasing his excellent customer service skills and made this first visit heartful. The pictures posted tell the story.. Hope to visit again soon.
