Chu Lao(former owner) spent money to make money and cherished his customers... This is no longer the case here from the current owner (the staff personally keep Chu's kindness going with their own personal efforts). Unfortunately Chu has passed and his traditions and generosity with it... It was a great place once that thrived but under the new owner, they clearly have no clue what they are doing or the potential the place has from a business stand point. A 1500 sq ft restaurant sits empty every day on one side of the business. Dead space that could have pool tables in it instead of tumble weed and ghosts. The take out food seems to be keeping the lights on and the pub is nice(because of the staff) great servers on Thurs and Fridays. No security and a heavy transient crowd on Saturday nights makes it unappealing. The walk outs have increased ten fold as the old regular crowd that used to frequent the place no longer are the clientele.

One of the worst chinese meals i have ever had. Ginger beef was soggy and flavorless, the mongolian beef was the worst thing i have ever experienced. We ordered almost $200 worth of food and ended up throwing most of it away. The chicken chow mein and dry garlic ribs were good though.

My husband and I just passing by at the area 182 st when we saw the Lee garden restaurant, because we are very hungry. At first we thought it is a bar, yes it is bar but the other side is Chinese restaurant. We order good for 4 person meal. And wow it is lots and the food is good, the server was so friendly and polite when we asking questions about our order. For sure we will come back again to this place.

I got a take away from skip the dishes. The Shanghai noodles had to go to garbage, didn’t taste good and had a burnt flavour. I asked for chilli oil and curry powder added to the noodles, it looks like they burnt it and it spoiled the dish. The fried rice was OK.
