I love that Duchess bakery has one location on the southside. The Gruyere cheese croissants are just so delicious and so buttery. The cherry pies are delectable. The seasonal macaroons are so light and full of flavourful.
Parking: Parking in the back of the the bakery. There is also a back door which you can enter through.

You don't know what to choose, everything is delicious 😋
Umm, this was a weird place to go to for being so out of touch with the city these days. BUT! Easy to get to, ample parking, accessible, and such a great use of space. Staff were excellent, kind, and friendly. Products are always the best quality. I went on a Saturday morning because I was in the area, and I was a bit worried it would be as long of a line as the 124st location, but nope. The building itself was packed, but there was no line. Not sure if that's normal or I was in at the right moment, but it's nice that I can stop by and be in and out in five mins :) I don't need to review the treats I got bc come on, it's Duchess. They're the best!
The Grier Croissants are to die for. The scones are great too. Tarts are okay but

Little Duchess in Ritchie is the smaller sister of the large bakery on 124 Street. They have many of the same pastries and dishes as the larger one. This one shares a space with a few other businesses (butcher, coffee shop, restaurant, etc.). The staff is always friendly and happy to give recommendations. It's nice to see that the area is getting more local things to check out! The space is inclusive and all on one level - which makes easy access for wheelchairs and walkers. There is street parking around the area, which is sometimes quite busy, so you tend to have to park and then walk a bit to your final destination. Worth stopping in for sure.

Love this place!
Best Bake shop in the city hands down. Every year we order pies for Thanksgiving best part of dinner ??. Hit them up
Very well hidden from the street. Didn't notice any sign either. Nice ambiance of a small indoor market. Delicious as usual.
