Always a solid choice. I’ve been here several times now for business lunches, dinners with family, and just casual drinks and it’s consistently good. Stopped in the other night with my colleague for a drink. Rose was looking after us, as she has before, and she was excellent as usual. I came today for dinner and I was positively surprised by the quality of the food and the service, after seeing not all good reviews. I had the matrix burger and house salad and it was very tasty, delicious, I really enjoyed it ! Service was 100% too. I sat outside, it was nice and calm.
I split the rating because the included breakfast with your Matrix hotel stay is phenomenal. There is hot food, pastries, fruit and coffee all included.
But unfortunately their lunch and dinner menu leaves a lot to be desired.
The service was mid at best, you really had to look for them if you needed something.
