Wemt here with my family. Was asked if I can afford the food when ordering. Was not able to enjoy a conversation without constant interruption. For my steak they gave me the nub part of the steak, even I could have cut it better. You have to pay for each side option. Not family friendly.

Ordered 94’s chicken sandwich with their Caesar salad. Excellent choice for lunch- the bread was soft with a really well-seasoned chicken fillet, and probably the best part, it had avocado slices in it. The salad used real bacon, the lettuce was crisp, the cheese was sharp, and the fresh lemon wedge was a nice touch. Although I found the salad to be lightly dressed, it was great. Quick service, made it in and out within the hour for lunch time.

Return there for an after work social. This time sit in the Bar. Food is amazing, service is fast and pleasant. Had apetizer, a few drinks and a main after. All tatsts to the quality. Fresh ingrediant. My grilled salmon is salty to my palate.

Went here on a Saturday. Not too busy. Closest parking lot that I saw was 500 meters away. Had... Mushroom soup- Delicious but please beware it is a smooth soup. There are no mushrooms in it.
Shepherds pie- Omg please try it.
Mark the bartender- This place should advertise him. The food was good but he was better and i will 100% come back because of him.

We had a great night at lux, -1 star as it wasn’t that busy and the bar drinks took much longer than expected. Our server was new however was great and attentive. If you like old fashions you have to try the special one here….

Unfortunately my experience at the lux steakhouse was very bad. It took nearly 30 minutes for the server to come back and take our order, and then we were there for an hour before our appetizers finally arrived (there was one table with people and the restaurant was empty otherwise). Once our appetizers arrived, they brought our main course within minutes of us getting our appetizers. They took our steaks back, and once we finished the appetizers they brought our mains out. Surprise, the steak was cold. I raised the concern and they brought it back a minute later after being warmed up. At this point it was time to eat, and the quality and taste was very bad. A steak is 50$-200$ , and it doesn’t come with a side (they are extra), and the sides we got did not taste very good. The quality of steak was worse than meat I have had from Walmart. I’d highly recommend you look to spend your money elsewhere, especially with the price you will pay here.

Food and drinks were excellent!! Super yummy, amazing wine and cocktail selection. Asked for modifications and the food came out without them but it was fixed right away. Really great place to eat.

I ordered the striploin, and it was extremely underwhelming. Grey and about half the thickness of a steak you’d get from the grocery store for $9, except it wasn’t $9 it was $59.. I’ve had better steaks at Denny’s. The rest of the food was good, Great service and atmosphere too.

Everything was perfect! We ate here for our 25th anniversary. We were greeted with a 'happy anniversary' by the host. We had excellent, friendly service by the host and the server. All the food was amazing. The restaurant was not noisy. The sound was just right. Great ambience, great atmosphere. I can't remember the last time I came out of a restaurant completely satisfied. I for sure want to go back. Thank you, Lux!
Most meals were good but one rib eye ordered had no rib cap. Managers excuse was they cut steaks in house so rib eye may not have rib cap. $65 for a 12oz rib eye with no rib cap is definitely not worth the price.

Horrendously managed. Have spent hundreds of dollars here to be met by a snarky manager in previous visits and on the last visit didn’t receive any service at all sat at the bar for 10 minutes. Won’t be coming back and letting others know to avoid.

The service and food here is beyond amazing, I had just chosen to go here on a whim and it turned out to be the best steak place ever. The staff are excellent, we had personal conversations and the manager of the store had come to personally ask how our meal was. It was also my boyfriend’s birthday and they had gone out of their way to give him a personalized birthday card. Is it expensive? yes but for this quality of food and service I would have spent double. Also what steak houses aren’t expensive these days, I cannot explain enough how amazing this experience was. 10/10 We will come back every-time we’re in Edmonton. (also the oysters are BEYOND delish)

I ate here a a few night ago. First of all the service was great, our server was attentive but not annoying and was very pleasant. The sides were all delicious, especially the lobster Mac & Cheese. However, I ordered a 12 oz striploin medium rare, but received a medium steak that was thinker on one end than another. So having an uneven over cooked steak for the price tag was very disappointing.
