The baked goods here are art. The intensity of flavour is so satisfying it makes you question what you've been eating before. Even an ordinary cookie is taken to the next level. I have never had a fudge cookie that had the same effect as eating straight dark chocolate. My French Canadian stepmom said that the pistachio croissant was "to die for" "the real deal". The cakes have the thin layers like you see on cooking shows. The bakery's location behind Rogers Place keeps prices reasonable. Don't let the block deter you. Inside, you are transported across the ocean to a European cafe. Their menu is HUGE. Sandwiches, crepes, coffee, sweets. Just go.

Dietary restrictions: Many of the deserts have nuts.

Parking: Park on the street behind the building, north of Rogers Place. Free parking for 15 minutes if picking something up. I am unsure if you can park on 101 street out front.

Kid-friendliness: It's too small of a space for wagons and strollers. Walk in. With babies and toddlers, take food to go.

For my 50th birthday, ST ALBERT location on 50 Thomas Street!
I celebrated in style with a high tea party that exceeded every expectation! The private room was stunningly decorated, making me feel like royalty, and the attention to detail was incredible. The food? Absolutely divine. From the delicate finger sandwiches to the decadent pastries, everything was perfect, but the highlight had to be the macaroons. Each bite was a melt-in-your-mouth experience, with flavors that were beyond indulgent. Honestly, they were to die for!

This venue isn’t just for milestone birthdays—it’s perfect for any occasion, whether you’re celebrating turning 5, 50, or anywhere in between. It’s like stepping into a birthday dream. The whole event felt more than 5 stars, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking to host a private gathering. Their dedication to making every detail perfect guarantees an unforgettable experience!

The staff were so accommodating at the ST ALBERT location.

Vegetarian options: The restaurant side is fabulous. I grew up vegetarian and take my mom here for our lunch date and it was so fabulous. They also have cakes already made as well.

Dietary restrictions: We had a gluten option and the chef asked me if any diet restrictions

Kid-friendliness: You can order kid tea trays as well if you were to add any children i to your event. like a mother's day hightea event.

Excellent first experience here deciding on a dessert to share with my work colleagues and settled ob 6 of the most popular macaroon flavours after much debate. The attendant was very knowledgeable about recommendations and helped me select some items. They were hit with my co-workers and myself! Will definitely be back again! Loved the atmosphere of the store, too!

This place is really good but they don’t serve cake. I bought more than one “cake” here and they’re not cake. They’re all like whipped stuff. Tasty, just not cake lol. Love the macarons and the strawberry rhubarb mini cheesecake thing, heaven
