I came today as usual to taste macarons and cakes made by our Chef Akram Hasni at the Macarons Goodies shop located near the former Roger Place Arena in Edmonton.I was wonderfully surprised by his new menu: mushroom baby shrimp and mozzarella pizza.It was very appetizing with a tremendous texture with a crispy and chewy crust, the sauce was tasty.I liked all the flavors on it.By the way, the chef and his staff are very welcoming and friendly.I love this place.

This bakery is absolutely the BEST IN EDMONTON and even Calgary! I travel a lot and try many different bakeries and this one is top notch every time I come for baked good, savory foods! They are mouth watery goodness! The owner Akram is so friendly and I love the interactions with him and his staff. He gives the best recommendations to try when I tell him my taste and everything is on point. I love the French decor and foods. This place is truly so good and they actually care and give amazing detailed service here and even better it's a local business which I will continue to support.Thank you for always giving nothing but the best!When I'm having a hard day and feeling depressed I come in for some sweets or try a different food item and it always cheers me up. The lower of food made with love and passion.

Always amazing service and delicious taste! This is truly a hidden gem. Every time I visit macaroons & Goodies, it's always a hit. They have a great selection of foods and drinks. Owner and staff are always so kind and give a wonderful presentation when serving the food and lovely unforgettable taste each time.They have parking in the back with security cameras, so I feel safe leaving my car while I'm dining in.This is my new favorite bakery/ cafe for breakfast, food, and desserts. I also love to support a local business!

Please avoid this placeOrdered off of Too Good to Go just to try it out. I paid $7.99 for $24.99 worth of items. It’s suppose to be items close to their end date and I get that. The food you gave me was inedible. The Macrons were hard and broken. The cinnamon wheel was so dry and brittle. A broken down the middle cookie - and some wrapped chocolates? I went in there with every intention to get other items, and pay full price, but not after that. There is no way the value of these items was $25.He smiled to my face while ripping me off. I don’t know if they will reply to this but they have no excuse. When I called to ask if this was normal he said yes and they give $15-$17 value. So why is it advertised as valued at $25? And you still gave out inedible food.The shop itself is lovely. Would have been a great place for lunch if they weren’t scammers.

This is, in my opinion, the best French cafe in the city. It concerns the quality of the food and the numerous items available for deserts, and, of course, the best coffee in the city, especially Espresso, at the level of best cafes in Italy.The place is very cozy, with beautiful and very comfortable chairs, light French music (not too loud, just right) and excellent service with genuine sense of hospitality.

I have been here a few times and the other times were quite good. Unfortunately when I stopped by today and picked up four macarons, three of the four were very dry, hard, and chewy like they were made a week ago. I don’t think I will be spending my money here again if that is the quality to be expected.I would much rather they had less selection but fresher product.
