Went there with friends for dinner on Friday evening. Food was great, fresh and tasty as usual. Service is prompt and seating is comfortable. Good value for the cost. Wheelchair accessible.

For a large steak pho it’s pretty expensive it was like $21 but the one at T&T supermarket is much cheaper for a large

My fiancé and I have been coming here for 2 years now! We have nothing but fantastic things to say about this restaurant. It’s our absolute favourite ❤️ The kitchen staff is outstanding, never fail to impress alongside the staff. 10/10 Highly recommended! The owner herself is such an amazing person

Great Vietnamese spot with delicious food and friendly service. The Phở is flavorful, and their Pad Thai is surprisingly good — perfectly balanced with just the right amount of sweetness and spice. Clean, cozy, and consistent. Highly recommend for casual dining!

We found a blue small plastic in our soup today. We inform the server and they change our soup into a new one.

I love the way I feel after I eat Vietnamese food so having this option in WEM is lovely. We went on a Saturday afternoon, which I thought the place would be packed to the max, but there was still plenty of seating. Even our big group of 7 had a luxury semi-private seating. Which I loved that semi-privacy setup that they have for larger groups, helps keep the sound more contained for sure! At every Vietnamese place we always get Vietnamese coffees and this place did not disappoint, but I did find it strange that they didn’t come out right away but mid meal. We ordered the golden wontons $14.25- these were so good, came out hot and right away. The chicken wings $15.95 we got the salt and pepper that the kids really enjoyed. Also ordered the #10 grilled chicken, shrimp, pork, pork pattie, beef and spring roll vermicelli $23.50 which had so much meat! I felt like it needed a bit more vermicelli noodles though. The special Banh Mi Vietnamese Sandwich $13.50 was a great price and value but oddly it didn’t come cut in half. The Pho with Steak Flank was a huge portion we couldn’t even finish the medium size- medium $19.25 large $20.25. Overall a great restaurant choice if you’re visiting the mall.

When you’re running out of options to eat at the mall, or unsure what to watch at all, just go to Mai’s.

Good food, good company, good quality.

Will definitely come back for more

We used to come here for years. Almost any time we came to WEM from the other side of the city. The food tastes the same. But the portions are only 1/2-3/4 of what they used to be. We got the same thing every time. Two #7 vermicelli bowl with a side of chicken. And we used to be able to take a decent portion home. This most recent visit, we ordered the 2 bowls (one each), and green onion cakes with it. We finished it all and I gave a good amount to my husband because he was still so hungry after his and I was able to share. The service has also gone downhill. There was a waitress sleeping on one of the benches. There weren't many patrons (maybe 4 couples) and they never came back to fill our water glasses. Also, what happened to the after meal candies they gave with the bill? If you're going to raise your prices at least maintain the quality and size of the dishes and have higher service standards. I don't think we will be back.

2 stars because I know what this restaurant was and how far its fallen in the last few years.
