Manila Grill Express - South

We were looking forward to eat here coz it’s a Filipino restaurant but got disappointed. In fairness, the service is good. The server was attentive and accommodating. But the food is very oily. We ordered Chicken Adobo, Grilled Pork and Pork Sisig. But it was just too much oil. We can’t taste the flavor because all we can taste is the oil. The oil overpowers the flavor. It’s swimming with oil and the chili 🌶️ seems just like a design. It’s not spicy at all. Or might be because all we can taste is the oil? 🥴 Instead of eating it all and enjoying the food, we werent able to finish it. Hope the cook can cook it better next time with less oil.

Got ripped off. We ordered food platters that are advertised to feed up to 15. Paid over $200, and would be lucky to feed 3. When we called them, they gave us attitude so unprofessional! Absolutely never going here again.

We ordered platters supposed to feed 10-15 people but to be honest the serving can literally feed only 5 people at most. I would not order food from this place. You'll end up very upset!

Food is delicious, however portion sizes for protein dishes are a bit off. $18-$20 for a relatively small bowl of meat. The rice dishes have huge portions though so definitely worth ordering!

We recently went to Manila Grill Express to celebrate our anniversary, and the experience was quite disappointing. The male server was incredibly rude and impolite, almost like he was yelling every time he spoke. As we walked in, he tossed us the menu and simply pointed at a table, ordering us to sit without any courtesy. The food was far from good— the rice tasted old, like it had been microwaved.

When my husband went to ask for a takeout container, the male server was on his phone. Instead of acknowledging him, he signaled for my husband to go back to the table, almost as if he was shooing him away. After finishing his call, he finally approached us and rudely asked, "What do you want?" The customer service was extremely poor, and as a business owner myself, I would never tolerate such behavior from my staff.

I regret giving this place a chance and should have left the moment he tossed the menu at us. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
