I love ice cream. It’s actually my very first food memory! I even mention in my author bio that I consider it a main meal. Since moving to Edmonton in 2022, I have struggled to find an ice cream spot that hits the mark. Most places were just too sweet, with even sweeter toppings that gave me no satisfaction, and I was starting to lose hope. Yes, people, it was that serious. My joy in life was being crushed. Then, by chance, my husband and I saw Marble Slab after a movie, and he suggested we try it. I went in fully expecting to be disappointed. My first server, Priyanka, listened so kindly when I explained that I have a bit of a delicate palate for ice cream. She was incredibly welcoming and patient as I explored the flavors and unlimited mix-in options.
I found my favorite blend right away: strawberry ice cream mixed with all kinds of berries, pineapple, and almonds. It's absolutely delicious! I’ve been back at least six times a month since, often bringing my kids along. The ice cream here strikes the perfect balance of sweetness and refreshment, and I love that I can add fruit mix-ins rather than just caramel or chocolate syrups.
The staff always makes me feel welcome, even when I experiment with some pretty wild combinations. Special shout-out to Priyanka, Lydia, and Jay—you’re amazing! You guys often remind me when I miss out on a beloved topping and laugh when I gasped dramatically saying I would die if I went home and the flavor was not perfect. You guys made strawberry ice cream close to closing because you anticipated I would come to the store and know it is my favorite flavor.

Rude staff! The guy was Not wearing gloves. When asked to wear gloves, rolled eyes , made faces and finally behaved as if he did us a favour putting on gloves. Rudely put the ice cream on the shelf. And as we were walking out, he was preparing the next customer order same way : no gloves Poor poor behaviour ! Staff needs basic food handling training !

It was worst service. The staff members seriously need to learn some manners. They are very rude. They say it’s unlimited toppings, but the moment you start telling your toppings, they started making faces and started sarcastically smiling at each other and gave snarky looks at us. I even heard them talking that it’s too much, I mean if you have problems with adding toppings just mention a limit there.

Terrible service. Bought ice cream all summer and got no points on my account. I have a points card which they refused to take. Ice cream was melted and fixings were limited. There were better fixings at other locations. I wouldn’t go to this location! Go to another one if you can avoid this avoid this location at all costs. Manager make all sorts of excuses. I would actually post a 0 star rating but Google doesn’t give this option.

They have many different delicious options to cool you off on a hot day. I enjoy the occasional ice cream. I just felt mislead by their Snickerdoodle option as I grew up loving Snickerdoodle cookies which are a cinnamon sugar cookie, my favorite type of cookie actually. So when I saw Snickerdoodle that is what I expected but instead I got vanilla ice cream with Snickers chocolate bar chunks and a caramel drizzle. Just for the owners of this franchise I want to say that you should research the meanings and terms before advertising a type of ice cream incorrectly, I love your ice cream but I would like to be properly informed of the type of ice cream I am ordering. If you could offer a Cinnamon Snickerdoodle ice cream option with chunks of Cinnamon Snickerdoodle cookies inside of it that would be absolutely amazing!

The ice cream cake was so soft even after taking it out of my own freezer. No top decoration on the cake as pictured online. No chocolate bars instead the cake as their used tk be. Called to speak to management, nobody called back. Wrote a letter to the store and nobody followed up on explaining why the cake was so soft and id it was now standard to get 3 bits of chocolate bar in an entire cake due go inflation. Due to poor customer service we won't be back. Especially because WOW factor desserts has never once disappointed or cut toppings and a cake there is the same price yet exceptional quality and service.

Not honored emails sent. Two people in my family have the same birthday. When we went in I said we were both there to fet the birthday cone and showed two different emails sent to same email address and showed id. They said ok then after they scooped up ice cream then said they would not honor both birthday emails .
