EDIT: It appears my first visit (where I ordered a jumbo donair with cheese) was indeed an accidentally made order. I went today for the free donair that I was offered by the owner here and it tasted totally traditional. I guess I did accidentally receive caesar dressing instead of sweet sauce as this donair was delicious, sweet, and had no specks of black in it like the caesar dressing does. I will definitely return. 10/10 service online here by the owner and 10/10 service in-store (very kind and quick to rectify this issue).

hands down best spot on campus. open late on the weekends too. never disappoints.
We ordered a mushroom poutine and a donair platter. I asked to replace rice (too sticky for me) with something else, they suggested salad, which was ok with me. I confirmed again that I don't want rice. Instead, I got salad and a huge amount of rice, no fries. I didn't go back and complain because I didn't want that food to go to waste. Meat lacked either seasoning or crust, but was palatable, although there wasn't enough sauce in my opinion. Salad was good. Fries in poutine were good, but I could barely taste mushrooms behind the garlic. The size is ok but nothing crazy. In my opinion, a bit too expensive for what's on offer here.

This place is great! I always go there for Veggie burger (must try) and fries. Service is excellent and quick.
Woman in the cashier was too disdain and costumer service was bad, I just asked if the fries were included in the price and she just brushed me and answer on a disrespectful manner, a just “yes/no” was just enough. Seems like the cashier doesn’t like Asian guys.

I recently bought a falafel wrap from Marcos and it was really displeasing. After I opened the packet it was drenched in oil from falafel. On the top, the falafel was raw from inside. It was almost inedible. I heard good thing about Marcos but my experience was totally disappointing.

My friends recommended Marcos so I took my mom and buddy there for lunch, since we were in the neighbourhood. I was surprised by their menu and all the options. Apparently, you must have the milkshake and fries. Ordered donair with fries for my mom, and had a mushroom swiss burger for myself. My friend and I also shared a poutine and vanilla shake. The shake was so thick and delicious and I could tell they didn't add much milk to it. It was a tad of a wait but I appreciated receiving my food piping hot. My sandwich was very juicy and they took an extra step to season the mushrooms. The fries were my absolute favourite. Overall, it was a great experience and meal. Will definitely place this one on my regular restaurant list.
