Great food no complaints at all. Good service. Great prices can’t say enough good things.
Good breakfast as usual will be back
Some friends invited me to eat here one day and ever since I try to go eat 3-4 times/month mainly on the weekends
The food was ok not great. Coffee was terrible.
Classic greasy spoon diner
Edit: I've eaten here a few more times since this review and goddamn it's good.
Best perogies in town! Chewy but soft skin and perfectly seasoned potato/bacon/onion inside. Get them pan fried!!! Pancakes are huge and fluffy, like McDonald's hotcakes but better, and the prices are more than fair, even with a recent but small price increase.
Only downside is that the service is slow because there's only 1 cook in the kitchen. But when it comes out, the food is excellent and piping hot!
Great family vibes
They are CLOSED till Dec 25th, there is a sign on the door.
I was there Nov 24 2024.

Visiting Calgary and had our first here in Maria's. Food is delicious and taste authentically Filipino. We ordered chicken and pork inasal, lechon slice, bulalo and sisig. The lechon slice was very crispy. Bulalo tender and veggies were not overcook. Inasal taste good too. Foods were served hot. Staff were accommodating and attentive to the requests of clients.

Marie is the BEST !!!
Her husband the cook is great as well, even though you never really see him. I always try to wave to him in the back and say thanks.

Service was good, but food was a little slow.
