Its a little local hole in the wall thats family run. All day breakfast for dirt cheap and was well cooked. They do have some Ukrainian fare like cabbage rolls and perogies (they were really good), surprisingly good coffee too. All in all a good place for a cheap meal esp one thats local run and would recommend at least once if you're on 118

Super dirty inside the floors are filthy, small portions and the food is clearly re heated and has no flavour or seasoning. Bland and soggy. My dads burger was super overcooked, hard as a rock.

Classic greasy spoon diner
Edit: I've eaten here a few more times since this review and goddamn it's good.
Best perogies in town! Chewy but soft skin and perfectly seasoned potato/bacon/onion inside. Get them pan fried!!! Pancakes are huge and fluffy, like McDonald's hotcakes but better, and the prices are more than fair, even with a recent but small price increase.
Only downside is that the service is slow because there's only 1 cook in the kitchen. But when it comes out, the food is excellent and piping hot!
Great family vibes

Visiting Calgary and had our first here in Maria's. Food is delicious and taste authentically Filipino. We ordered chicken and pork inasal, lechon slice, bulalo and sisig. The lechon slice was very crispy. Bulalo tender and veggies were not overcook. Inasal taste good too. Foods were served hot. Staff were accommodating and attentive to the requests of clients.
