Today Saturday June 8, 2024Went to Mario’s for a poutine lunch and we were very disappointed of our poutines because the cheese curd was not fresh mouchy and not squeaky ( previously frozen) this also occur the last time we went about a month ago, before the poutine were always fantastic and the cheese was always fresh and squeaky but I guest the management have change their policies. Cheese curd that have been refrigerated or frozen can still be used on pizza, lasagna etc but it can not be used on poutine. Very disappointed !!

The poutine is amazing! The customers service is good and the employees are nice. I would recommend you try this place at least once in your life.

This place is just so great! But I had a pretty bad experience recently which makes me not want to come back at all. Today my family and I wanted to buy cheese curds there and unfortunately there was no more fresh ones which is totally fine so we grabbed the frozen ones obviously. But the “new manager” of the place told us that the cheese curds factory was closed so we could only buy it with cash?! This has never happened to us before and we were really disappointed. She even tried to make us go to Safeway to get cheese curds instead of just letting us buy the cheese curds at the counter with our cards. The old managers have always been the sweetest but this tall, chubby and mixed looking race woman just made it look like she couldn’t care less about the business or their clients. She was disrespectful and answered with an attitude. Very disappointed.

Je me souviens...Mann oh mann.. what a decline.. i remember this place was a touch of Quebec.. water downed sauce in the poutine... cheap on the meat for the club sandwich...hair on my plate... the place was smoked out as if something caught fire.. gave me an instant headache. My clothes smell like a camp fire now!! Like how could you mess up the 2 easiest food plates probably in the industry.

Ahhh! I was hoping for a 10/10 poutine like I see on my facebook feed all the time! The size is great but it the first time I ever had a poutine that tasted like water… it too bad!The smoke meat sandwich is the same as if you would make it at home yourself from the microwave pack. It always good

Delicious food and friendly service. You need to have the real cheese curds and try the Galvaude poutine!
Well. After management/ownership change. First couple of months were not bad. But i order 2 poutines taste great as usual (cheese makes the difference) but the fries. The fries tasted and looked cheap, all skinny and dry out. They used to make them fat and big fries. Now is just an other poutine from any regular franchise restaurant. (Like a&w or mcdo)I will reconsider coming back.

Absolutely Stellar meat cheese curds and gravy but the fries throw it all off. It's either old oil or they use the oil to fry multiple things as the fries come out horribly. Got home and took all the stuff off the top of the poutine and made fries in my air fryer to throw it all on. At that point I might as well make it at home. Really hoping management sees this post and simply does something about the fries as I would basically eat there every weekend!
The curds weren’t fresh that time ? otherwise my fav poutine in town.

It's not my favorite poutine because the fries are similar to La Poutine, which I don't like. I would try the lasagna next time. Someone else had ordered it, and it looked amazing.

Delicious pizza and donair , perfect service , recommended for lunch and dinner
Mario's could use a scale down of their menu. I think their poutine is great, while their donair was very bad and not made very well. I feel like this restaurant has bit off more than it can chew. The menu on the wall has pictures of food not even on the menu.
