First off being a Puerto Vallarta foodie my expectations for Mexican food and mariscos will be different from the next. The horchata was 🔥 rich and creamy. Quite heavy on the ice I wish there was more drink and less ice. The aguachile is nice if you have not tried it before but what was really missing is the typical sauces like Maggis, salsa ingles or black sauce. That would have been perfect had they had it. There was quite a bit of shrimp in the small bowl! A kick but not too spicy as it normally comes.
I would definitely go just for the birria tacos. There is a small cheese quesadilla option for kids as well that my baby loved.
The decor is beautifully done with indoor seating or patio, really aesthetic and perfect for photos. Friendly service.

I cannot express enough how great this hidden little gem is! Every time we visit, the food is great! The atmosphere is great! Everything is consistent from food to service. Very friendly people! Always 5 stars ⭐️
From the minute we called to book a reservation to the end of our amazing meal and margs the staff were friendly and attentive. Chelsea ensured to share the food and drink specials and gave great explanations to the questions we had about the menu! I had to visit well because it’s my namesake haha and the staff were just askexcited to meet “Marlo”as I was to visit the restaurant ! (and I was given a special little treat upon leaving.)
The food was absolutely amazing annd so fresh and I will be craving the birria taco until I can make another trip to Edmonton !

Last night we tried their tacos — every single flavor. We actually liked the taste, but not too much. The thing is, it was really uncomfortable to eat because the filling was way too much, and the taco shell was pretty soggy. So yeah, it’s more of a one-time thing for us.
