Had an excellent experience here. The service really stood out, especially thanks to Marissa and Janet. They were attentive, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. From start to finish, they made us feel welcome and well taken care of. Food was great, atmosphere was spot on, and the service took it to another level. Will definitely be back and recommending this place to others.

I love Match Eatery and Public House. The atmosphere is chill and the service is awesome. I love the Menu, I just had the Smash Burger with a side Cesar Salad, Delicious 😋🤤. Highly recommended to eat here.

My husband and I had dinner at this restaurant in Rodger’s place last night. He ordered the burger and the meat was not cooked. The server said wow that doesn’t look cooked at all and would get us another one and take it off the bill for our inconvenience and health scare.
We we got the bill they did not do what they said and we had to pay for this in full price.

I understand that sometimes mistakes happen when cooking but you should stand by your product and make it right.

On Dec 23, 2025 me and my partner decided to have dinner there before the hockey game. We were told it would be a 25 min wait and to leave a phone #, we would receive a text when our table would be available and their would be no problem for us to eat and still be in our seats for the beginning of the game. After about 30 min I went up to the desk and another couple was there, they were very disappointed that they had not been seated yet and told me I could have their table if it ever comes available and gave me their name. When the greeter came back and said their name, I told them they gave me their table, we were seated and ordered. I ordered the fish burger (hand held) and my partner ordered the chicken burger (hand held) the food was good and the service was ok considering how busy the restaurant was. About 4 hours later I became very ill, sore stomach and the vomiting. The next day I recalled everything I ate and the only thing I ate that my partner did not was the fish. I hope this did not happen to more people there that evening.

We made a reservation for 4 people for 5:15 before the women’s hockey game CAN VS USA on a Saturday night. Game started at seven so we gave ourselves a good hour and a half to eat we were told ahead of time it would be really busy and to order right away we ordered our drinks and three of us ordered meals or drinks took about 15 to 20 minutes to come and then our food didn’t come for another 40 minutes after that just around 6 o’clock. We ordered a spicy chicken sandwich with onion rings, lettuce wraps, and a beef dip with no mayo. The lettuce wraps comes out with dry ribs and I say nope no one ordered ribs here so that our waitress brings the food back to the kitchen, comes back out just the lettuce wraps then five minutes later comes out with the chicken sandwich and says the kitchen lost my order of the beef dip. I looked at the clock as it was 6 o’clock and I said how long is it gonna take to get my food? She went back to the kitchen and said it would only take between 7 to 10 minutes and I said OK and she said just to confirm I told her what I ordered the beef dip with no mayo. She then comes back five minutes later with a menu saying so you ordered the baby back ribs at this point it was 10 after six and I just cancelled my meal as I wouldn’t have had time to eat before getting to the game. Our waitress did apologize but no point did management come or did anything try to get taken off our bill? We simply paid our meal and left.
