Sunday around 11am to 11:30am just an hour ago as I’m writing this review today 25 May 2025, we were the first customer in the restaurant, not very welcoming ambiance, no one greeted us as it seems they were very busy not minding the customer. As I ordered the set menu B, I suddenly changed my mind to set menu A after 1 minute exactly and the server told me that I cannot change it anymore, (that is so rude and offending) but I let it go as I am with my family. Just within 3 minutes foods are going out to our table already, I am wondering how they cooked it so fast? Chicken was dry, I thinking they just reheated the chicken. Kare kare was bland, too red in color. Lechon kawali was so dry too, Hmmmmm.. our server said you all are so hungry(mukha kayong gutom na gutom na) that’s why chicken is here fast. Really? That’s a no no and very offending. That would be our first and last coming to this restaurant. Zero customer service from our server. He is rude and don’t have respect to customers. Not smiling not serving manner. He made us feel not welcomed! Traumatic experience with your server. He should do servers training first/customer service

Great authentic food and it’s absolutely delicious! Iba parin sa Tlga sa Maxs Restauranf , The flavors are perfectly balanced. The staff was incredibly attentive and made my day and my experience even better. Feels like home ,to Christian and Janet you guys awesome ✌️ keep up the good work 🙏 cheers

Its our first time to visit last Sunday with my family. And no personnel is staying on our area while we need assistance... we need to stand and look for person whenever we need assistance.. when Im about to pay, the lady give me the debit machine. And as I look there is 15% tip.. so I click 15% ... then after the printed reciept I found out that she already charged 15%, In short I was charged 30% on tips.

My family and I ordered the Mother's Day Bundle, including pancit and halo-halo on the side. Furthermore, crispy pata was one of the dishes included in the Mother's Day Bundle. Although the food came in fresh, my mom was very disappointed that they did not have crispy pata. Overall, my family and I enjoyed the food at home since it was a take out.

Service is really good. Christian is so accommodating and always smiling which makes the experience better. Price is decent and affordable. Food is really good too. Beef sisig and the fried chicken is my favorite on their menu. Always come back to for those food. Highly recommend.
Small serving for a price. The half chicken is like quarter size. The sago wasn’t cooked. It made my tummy upset. The lechon kawali wasn’t crispy and looks like a left over. Used to be our favourite but unfortunately this restaurant is going downhill.
Food is decent but absolutely abysmal service. I have had both dine-in and take-out experience over the years - it is usually hit-or-miss.
Most recently, I placed a delivery order a full 6 hours in advance, only to have it completely lost. When I called to inquire, I was met with rude and dismissive staff. The food that eventually arrived was not only late but also incorrect - as-in the completely wrong order. Such a disappointing experience. I gave two stars instead of one because I did appreciate the manager reaching out to apologize; however, adding additional food ultimately did not help me or my guests' situation.
I would strongly advise anyone to think carefully about going to or ordering from this restaurant.

Food was delicious. Portions were large. We absolutely recommend Max’s Deep fried whole chicken. Crispy skin and tender chicken inside. Server was very nice. He was very helpful in deciphering the menu as it was our first time dining out in a Philipino restaurant. We will definitely be back!

I really enjoyed my time at Max’s. The food was authentic and very good. It’s hard to choose a favourite dish from what we ordered.
The service was very fast and friendly even though there was an event going on in the back. We even came in an hour before close which made me feel bad, but the wait staff was still very happy to see us eat.

Worth the wait❤️ Chicken was crispy and yummy, tofu is okay and I love the miki bihon pancit. Staff were helpful.
