Basic and meh to be honest. A lot of hype for overpriced food that may or may not be served as described. It wasn’t horrible or anything, just wasn’t what I was expecting hearing from others. We were sat by the door which made it pretty cold for us, may want to rethink those tables in the winter.

Had a date night with my partner yesterday. Chris served us, they were very kind coursed out or dinner perfectly and we never had to ask for anything they always were one step ahead with anticipating what we needed. Can't wait to come back!

We were greeted which a smile and promptly brought to our table. Our server( sorry I can never remember names) was very professional and friendly. She informed us of the special, which we chose. Entrees arrived in record time ( amazing) and drinks. She also made sure the cheesecake we brought arrived quietly as a birthday dessert. All in all, a fabulous experience, again. Thank you
The bbq was pretty good but the sauce is where it’s at. From the share platter I would rank the items #1 fried chicken #2 brisket #3 smoked chicken #4 sausage #5 pulled pork
The fries were super weird and starchy, not crispy. The staff were super friendly and didn’t make it weird when I mentioned about the fries being not great.
I got to have a nice meal with my good pal and that’s what it’s all about

Gluten free options available. Smoked beef tallow popcorn was spot on with a pint. Like right on the spot lol. Smoke isn’t to heavy, so good for people who are new to smoked bbq. All the bbq has a sweet bbq sauce on it. We got there late about 7:00 pm so smoked meat was running low, and we missed the brisket, that tells me the bbq is made with care and not reheated from days before. Wish I made it for the smoked beef rib. Wings had a dry rub giving them a sandy texture, not my taste. Burnt ends taste great but had a few square pieces that I am sure didn’t come from a burnt end of the brisket. Fried rice was quite tasty and a great side dish but was a little oily. Good beer selection. Overall a satisfying meal. I would go back again but probably earlier would be best. Seating was great at the bar, it was comfortable and the service was top notch.

I live in Toronto, but I'm from the southern states. I have been looking for good food with a southern touch. It's hard to find. Some friends brought me here while I was in Edmonton, and geez, this food is amazing. I had the pork belly burnt ends, loaded mashed potatoes, corn bread skillet, and tasted the pulled pork. Everything looked great. I'm definitely hitting up Meat when I'm back in Edmonton! I didn't even grab photos. LOL.
