Updating my review from 4 to 5 stars. This is undoubtedly our family's favorite Ramen restaurant in Edmonton for a couple of years now. Our favorites being the Spicy Miso Ramen, Miso Butter Ramen and Chicken Karrage with Yuzu Ginger Sauce. Tip: Chicken Karrage dipped in Spicy Miso broth, so good!
Kid-friendliness: My 10 year old daughter loves loves the Spicy Miso Ramen and my 8 year old son loves the Butter Miso Ramen accompanied by Ramune soda drinks.

Mixed reviews. Great if you are not vegetarian it seems.
I got the Veggie Tan-Tan Ramen. It was very disappointing and bland. The hardboiled egg was the best part (and I paid for a second because on their website they said the veggie tan-tan had no egg - but it did....).
Partner got the goma tan-tan ramen which according to the website's vague description the differences were that the veggie was made with tofu and vegetable broth and no egg, but his looked to be an entirely different broth. Mine was beige and his was a bright orange, his was spicy and mine was not. He said his was really good and was shocked when he tasted mine - as it waa supposedly the same dish made vegetarian but was absolutely not.
Wondering if they just made me a bland miso and labeled it tan tan.
Real bummer.
Vegetarian options: Very bland vegetarian options for ramen

Came here for lunch and food is amazing. However, they only have 2 people working during the lunch rush. One in the kitchen and another in the kitchen…. Please hire my staffs to accommodate the rushes because waiting 30 mins for food and another 25 mins for the bill is ridiculous.

Been here every week for the last month and they do not disappoint :) the tonkatsu shoyu is so flavourful, filling and at a very reasonable price. The staff are super friendly too!
Great job team! Looking forward to the next time I can come in and say tadaima!

The service was fast and the vibe of the restaurant was chill (it was already around 11:15 PM).
Spicy Miso Tonkotsu (Pork Shoulder) - CA$16.45
Shoyu Tonkotsu (Pork Belly) - CA$15.50
Chicken Karaage - CA$11.45
Food tasted good! We were pleased with the serving (serving’s actually more than enough for me) and the taste. You can taste the char in the pork, giving you a feeling of how it was grilled. The pork could’ve been more flavorful and tender, but that’s just my opinion.

In my opinion, Edmonton’s most solid Ramen restaurant (at the moment I’m writing this). I’ve tried some very authentic Ramen in the past and this is something that gets pretty close. Went for a good old Shoyu and it was so good, very tasty and just overall enjoyable.
It’s one of those Ramen bowls and just meals in general that gives you joy from all of those simple yet complex flavours being so well put together. Same goes for the noodles, a very interesting mix between Sapporo and Kitakata style noodles (at least on the visual side), lovely!
The place was packed but managed to get a seat, I definitely felt I was in for something great. My only complaint is that a section of a piece of Chashu was a little dry, which happens, but can throw you off a little bit and that my appetizer (which was pretty good) was taken off my table a little too soon (hence why I left 4 starts). Other than that, the host and waiter that took care of me were great and attentive at all times, kudos to them!

Worth the drive to the south side from the north end! Always the best flavours & the noodles are made in house too. So good!

I visited Menjiro Ramen on a Friday night and had a great experience. I ordered the garlic ramen, and my spouse had the original ramen. Both were incredibly flavorful and satisfying. We also tried the cheddar chicken karaage, which was a unique and tasty appetizer. The service was attentive despite the staff seeming a bit short-handed. Overall, everything was delicious, and we would definitely recommend this spot for a casual, tasty meal!

Great ramen and some of the best I've had in a very long time. Definitely fixed my ramen craving and ordered some to go as well to share with the family that didn't come out. Will be returning!
