Mercer's Catering

We had catered wraps from this place for work. It was very dry, to hard to even swallow.
The chicken to salad proportion in the wrap was also disappointed, which made it even harder to eat.
I would suggest may be adding a side sauce or mayo at least in the wrap.

We received our catering order this morning and were disappointed with the portion sizes provided for our group of 20. Unfortunately, there wasn’t enough food for all of our guests as the 2pc per person were mini appetizer size. The portion sizes were not clearly indicated on the menu, and had we known, we would have made a different selection. Given the quantity received, we feel the pricing did not reflect fair value. Over priced for very little!!!!

Overall the Food and Service was fantastic. Booking our event and picking the menu was very straightforward. The food arrived on time and was set up for us. We ordered the Chicken & Steak BBQ dinner with Mac and Cheese, Scalloped Potatoes, Beans and Caesar Salad. The only thing I would say was the steak was ok and a bit fatty (Highly recommend the chicken instead).

I ordered 2 Christmas dinners thinking it would be great. Much to my surprise it was anything but good. Turkey, potatoes and gravy all tasted like they came from a package. Dressing was a chunks of a bun with celery and a bit of spice. Dessert was a cookie with bite sized pieces of various desserts. It was about 65$ for this. Unreal! I expected far better from the reviews I read. Very disappointed. I do not recommend.

Contracted Mercer's to cater a board meeting. Planning and ordering was very smooth and painless, prices were very reasonable, and the delivery/setup service was very nice. The food was good too!

If I were planning another event in Edmonton, I wouldn't hesitate to go with Mercer's again.

Yesterday we celebrated our granddaughter's Bat Mitzvah. Mercer's Catering set up a fantastic drop off luncheon at our loft while we were still at the synagogue. Everything looked fantastic and tasted delicious....there were amazing party sandwiches, a drop dead cheese platter, salad skewers, veggie dips, fruit platters, and beautiful dainty dessert nibbles.....Mercer's always shows up for us....Thank you for another memorable reception!!!

We used Mercer’s for our wedding and the food was perfect. We received many compliments from our guests about how great the dinner and late lunch was (especially the mango chicken). We couldn’t have been happier.

We used Mercer's Catering for a 40th birthday party and we're very please with the delicious food and the lady they sent to set everything up and look after our guests, the sliders and bacon wrapped perogies were especially a big hit!
Would definitely use this Catering company again.

My father recently passed away and following his funeral we wanted to have a lunch reception in the church gymnasium for friends and family. This was a "short notice" request but Mercer's was very accommodating. We chose the Light Fare Reception Menu with two hot options (bacon wrapped perogies and chicken skewers). The delivery was right on time and the food was of very high qualilty and presentation. Bottom line - we were very pleased with the level of service, the lunch itself and the price. Thank you Lu and your team at Mercer's; much appreciated in a stressful time for our family.

I've worked with Mercer's Catering on various events over the last 10 years and the level of service and uniqueness of high-quality dishes really stands out. Most recently, Mercer's catered a family reunion for 50 out at Wabamun Lake in July 2024 that I coordinated. Coordination with Jyoshna was a breeze leading up to the event, and the team was on time and set up quickly. Their bacon-wrapped pierogis in particular are always a favourite.

Mercer's catering is your place for excellent customer service and delicious food for any ocasion. Highly recommand Jyoshna, Suran and their team.

They catered a corporate lunch today. I selected the Taste of Greece hot lunch option. Was quite good. Chicken was moist. Greek salad was yummy. People commented there wasn't many onions in salad which was a good thing!everyone asked who the caterer was so hopefully more business will come their way.
All staff were very nice and helpful. Food arrived on time.
I highly recommend.

So far booking Mercer's for my backyard wedding has been a breeze. Great customer service and patience when dealing directly with clients. Menu and prices are phenomenal, love that they offer a drop off service! Greatful to be working with them.

We had our wedding catered by Mercer's and I would highly recommend them! I honestly was feeling nervous after our tasting was cancelled and we picked up a "to go" order of samples- but we trusted the process, and everything was beyond amazing for our big day. Jyoshna and her staff were so professional and attentive. The food was both beautifully displayed, and delicious!
