Yesterday we celebrated our granddaughter's Bat Mitzvah. Mercer's Catering set up a fantastic drop off luncheon at our loft while we were still at the synagogue. Everything looked fantastic and tasted delicious....there were amazing party sandwiches, a drop dead cheese platter, salad skewers, veggie dips, fruit platters, and beautiful dainty dessert nibbles.....Mercer's always shows up for us....Thank you for another memorable reception!!!

We used Mercer’s for our wedding and the food was perfect. We received many compliments from our guests about how great the dinner and late lunch was (especially the mango chicken). We couldn’t have been happier.

We used Mercer's Catering for a 40th birthday party and we're very please with the delicious food and the lady they sent to set everything up and look after our guests, the sliders and bacon wrapped perogies were especially a big hit!

My father recently passed away and following his funeral we wanted to have a lunch reception in the church gymnasium for friends and family. This was a "short notice" request but Mercer's was very accommodating. We chose the Light Fare Reception Menu with two hot options (bacon wrapped perogies and chicken skewers). The delivery was right on time and the food was of very high qualilty and presentation. Bottom line - we were very pleased with the level of service, the lunch itself and the price. Thank you Lu and your team at Mercer's; much appreciated in a stressful time for our family.

I've worked with Mercer's Catering on various events over the last 10 years and the level of service and uniqueness of high-quality dishes really stands out. Most recently, Mercer's catered a family reunion for 50 out at Wabamun Lake in July 2024 that I coordinated. Coordination with Jyoshna was a breeze leading up to the event, and the team was on time and set up quickly. Their bacon-wrapped pierogis in particular are always a favourite.

Mercer's catering is your place for excellent customer service and delicious food for any ocasion. Highly recommand Jyoshna, Suran and their team.

They catered a corporate lunch today. I selected the Taste of Greece hot lunch option. Was quite good. Chicken was moist. Greek salad was yummy. People commented there wasn't many onions in salad which was a good thing!everyone asked who the caterer was so hopefully more business will come their way.
All staff were very nice and helpful. Food arrived on time.

So far booking Mercer's for my backyard wedding has been a breeze. Great customer service and patience when dealing directly with clients. Menu and prices are phenomenal, love that they offer a drop off service! Greatful to be working with them.

We had our wedding catered by Mercer's and I would highly recommend them! I honestly was feeling nervous after our tasting was cancelled and we picked up a "to go" order of samples- but we trusted the process, and everything was beyond amazing for our big day. Jyoshna and her staff were so professional and attentive. The food was both beautifully displayed, and delicious!

Absolutely WOW !!! We had Mercer's cater for our wedding after going thru a number of 'top rated' caters in the city. None of these so called 'top rated' caters even compare to Joyshna and her team in any category. Not only was Joyshna amazing to communicate and coordinate with but she designed a fantastic menu that was able to reflect who we were as people and bring about our cultural aspects. From the tasting to the day of she and her team were absolutely fantastic. They seamlessly coordinated with the venue, ran the show, adjusted for specific food requirements and we got outstanding food reviews from each of out guest - a few are going to try to replicate Joyshna's perogies and chilly at home. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better person to create a mouthwatering experience for our guest and us.

Our company ordered 300 Turkey dinners for x-mas dinner. What a huge mistake. Absolutely terrible. A7800.00 mistake

The plated dinner for 140 people at my wedding was a disaster. The children's dishes did not match what we ordered, causing inconvenience and disappointment. To make matters worse, some guests were served twice while others never received what they ordered. Some dishes that were plated during our tasting were not how they were served to guests. When I confronted the catering company, they refunded me for the children’s dishes but offered nothing but excuses for every other issue, displaying a lack of responsibility and professionalism.Not only did the catering company's performance fall short, but they also charged a premium for their services which was far from evident on the wedding day. The level of service and execution was certainly not on par with the high price we paid. It's disheartening to have invested a significant amount only to experience such a disappointing outcome.During the wedding, my mom approached the head waiter to inquire about the slow service, as some guests had finished their main course while others were still waiting. He admitted to having lost a page of the seating chart, which explained the disarray. However, when I confronted the catering company about this issue after the wedding, they outright denied any knowledge of such a mistake. Instead, they continued to provide false excuses to deflect any responsibility. The lack of accountability and honesty in their response only adds to the list of grievances, emphasizing their unprofessionalism and unreliability.To add insult to injury, it took an exhausting three weeks of standing my ground before the catering company acknowledged only some of their shortcomings and refunded only the gratuity (that was pre-paid), rather than proper compensation that reflects these issues. They continued to deflect and never offered a full apology or admission of guilt for their series of blunders and the immense stress they caused during and after what should have been a joyful occasion. The lack of genuine remorse or accountability is deeply concerning and highlights their complete disregard for customer satisfaction. I urge anyone considering their services to think twice before trusting this company to handle such an important event.
