I ordered a turkey sub today. Bun to meat and veggies ratio was heavy on bun. There was so little turkey that I might as well had ordered a veggie sub. Their other food might be good but their sub does not compare to Subway.

Don't be fooled by the long lines, the food was probably fresh when the line started but they're so slow that the earth has started to reclaim it by the time you get your order.

I go here often. Usually I get a top notch donair and poutine. But yesterday 45 min before closing I got the worst donair I ever had. The meat came out of a dish steamer and never hit the grill, soggy/ lost flavor. I asked for both sauces and all veggies except pickels. I got half the donair sauced and vegged with only lett and tom and peppers I asked for, missing alot of veggies. I had to put ketchup on my donair. Thats unheard of but I had no choice, no flavor. No bueno. Not sure ill be back.

If you have not tried mikes yet, I suggest you do. Not from eddie and love a good donair, so expectations were high. The menu is simple, and items are what they say they are. We ordered a regular cheese donair, and a super donair, you could tell them apart size does matter. We also tried mikes variation of a poutine and a donair poutine. Mike definitely didn't stop surprising us. Poutines were a hit. Mikes donair shop is pound for pound champ with great value and great portions. King of the block for sure. Did not dine in, but mikes was air conditioned, clean with plenty of seating.

Lost me as a customer.. when they advertise a special at 9.99 and the menu board states make it a super for 5.89 then they charge you almost 19.00... the grouchy lady saying the super add on doesn't apply to the special, and that they charge full price for it when you add extra ham and extra cheese.. Worst 3 bucks they ever charged...
