Firstly they sat my reservation for 8 at a booth for 6. While 4 of us were able to squeeze into one side (two of those people being children) - no one was able to actually lift their arms to cut our food - it was very cramped and uncomfortable. The table itself was quite cold - we all had to keep our coats on. Drink service was inconsistent, I frequently shared mine with my kids when theirs ran out. Food felt like it took a long time to come out. When it did, not one of three steaks was done correctly. We redistributed them so at least the birthday girl could eat while sending the other two back. (Which we even had to go to the front reception to request as our server was difficult to track down). When the second two came out - they only re-did one plate and put both steaks on it which I thought was very strange. The request was for medium rare. One remake came out rare and the other half burnt/well done and half medium rare - quite the feat honestly. Giving up at this point - they ate what they could and then we left. Perhaps the biggest disappointment however was all evening you could hear staff singing to birthday tables but that never happened to ours. I put that it was a birthday on the reservation. There was gift bags, we opened presents and eventually sang to her ourselves but not the slightest acknowledgment from the restaurant. The only positives I can remember is the onion rings were done well and the chicken burrito bowl was excellent. Otherwise the fish and chips were soggy, the baked potatoes came out with no butter. Requested add on's for the steaks were missing, it's a long list....

The lion was satisfied with his dining experience tonight. The lion and the rest of his pride were helped by the “mule” today. He was excellent. The perfect guide for a dining experience fit for a king. Would donate kidney.

Mule, what a name! What a guy! We came for a birthday so we had a bigger group, he nailed everything. Drinks were always full and a new rack ordered as soon as the current one came out! Thanks for making it a good night!

Not the best, not the worst
Updated review, I have changed my star rating from 3 to 4, all thanks to Lauryn, she was fabulous, I didn't like our table seating (right by the doors in the bar at 3 wobbly tables). We didn't have a huge bill but most of our party had multiple alcoholic beverages.

Hey guys. I'm not sure if you have had any other reports but last night at roughly 5 pm, my girlfriend and I ate here and I had one bite of a pork rib, and was immediately sick. I threw up in the washroom three times and quickly left. I should have reported it but I thought maybe I was just coming down with something. I am still quite ill this am.

I had the spicy chicken burger with fries, and the food came out hot which is always appreciated. From the moment walking in, getting seated was fast, and my order was taken within 5 minutes of sitting down. My server Abby never let my drink get empty, and she was very kind. Will for sure be back again with my friends!
