The daily specials are great and I particularly like the sashimi and hand roll specials. Try all the hand rolls, they are all really delicious!

My son and I went for dinner last night and while the food was ok, the service left us disappointed. While both servers were polite, there was zero communication between them. Server 1 sat us, Server 2 took our order after a bit of wait. 10 minutes later, Server 1 came back to take our order again—we explained we’d already ordered (and honestly it would’ve been an unacceptable amount of time to wait if we hadn’t).
My son’s ramen arrived after about 20 minutes, but my chirashi don didn’t come for another 20+ minutes after that. He had already finished his meal by the time mine showed up. I reminded Server 1 midway and she apologized, mentioning a discount towards my order of rolls, which wasn't what I had ordered so I corrected her. Finally when my chirashi came, it was just rice and fish—no garnish, no wasabi, no ginger, not worth $27 IMO.
I tried to get their attention for wasabi and ginger but ended up having to walk up to the bar to ask them. Went back to my table and waited some more. Both servers began to occupy themselves with other things. I flagged down server 1 again as she was seating new customers, and ask again, adding that I was also missing the miso soup that should’ve come with my meal. Eventually I got everything and was finally able to have my meal.
At the end, Server 2 came with the bill with no discount applied. By then my parking had expired and I was too annoyed to correct it. Meanwhile, a dirty table sat uncleared in front of us for the duration of the time we were there. A large party arriving may have distracted them, but that doesn’t excuse the lack of attention. They may need more staff on a Friday night, but overall, it was a very disappointing experience.

16$ for 12 sushi’s… out of this world deal. Stuff tastes unreal and atmosphere is elite.

Really disappointed tonight.
First time at a this restaurant and with a table of 4 the service was slow, the waitress was inattentive and spoke so soft you couldn’t hear her, food service was slow and the items did not come out in an order that made sense for a table of 4, the hot food was cold, some items lacked for did not mention high volume additions, and it was incredibly overpriced for what it was.
The chicken volcano bowl doesn’t mention any lettuce in the menu, but after coming to the table it is 60% lettuce with a thin, tiny bed of cold rice and small pieces of barely sauced chicken. Absolutely abysmal. I don’t expect a lot for a $17.00 but I honestly should have just stayed home.

Cold rice and what seemed like microwaved chicken well after everyone else got their food is pretty bad. I still ate it because I wasn't going to wait the same amount of time for it. Service was almost non-existent as I got my water filled once at the very end of the meal.
Will not be back.

Came here for their Wednesday special - $1 salmon nigiri, overall it was great. Certain batches did have undercooked rice and tough salmon, but a dollar is a dollar. Their special rolls are good as well.

We were a group of 3 with no reservations, but were able to get seated at the bar. Service was good and checked in on us frequently. Food was delicious and nicely presentable (except one of our hand rolls spilled out when it was serviced to us, and I had some scales in my bento). Otoro was amazing, really enjoyed that there are premium pieces you can order. A bit expensive, but good quality food.

I went there on a Wednesday for the niguiri for 1 dollar. It was very good, fresh fish and rice well prepared.
The only thing I would recommend to improve is that there was only one waiter, one person serving the food. Therefore it was taking too much time to ask our order or to be seated.

It was good. I know that's vague. But that's all I have. It wasn't great. It was good. Would I go back? Maybe. I wasn't to impressed with the sushi. We didn't get any ginger or wasabi. My kampuri was tasteless.OK. Overall, everything was ok.
The customer service was a four. She was pleasant enough.

Came for my birthday with my partner- we came on a Monday and appetizers were half price! We ordered drinks and shared probably 8-10 plates, and it came out to a VERY reasonable price.
For context, I go for 'nice' sushi often, while my partner is more of a Tokyo Express kind of guy. The food here was incredible- some of the best quality fish either of us have had in Edmonton, and everything was beautifully prepared. Even the seaweed salad was extra-delicious. Every single bite impressed us.
The server was also very kind, helpful, and quick.
We hope to come back soon!

We had a reservation for 5:45 PM to celebrate our anniversary and were told that our dining time was up at 6:40 PM because another group had the table booked for 6:45. Meanwhile, other tables who arrived before us were still eating. We were confused, rushed to finish our meal, and then asked the staff if all reservations were limited to one hour. The waitress replied that the reservation time is actually 1.5 hours. We told her we had a reservation and she said another waitress had told her our time was up. By then, we had already rushed to finish our supper. Very disappointing and poorly managed.
