Mr Donair Submarine

The young man taking orders is incredibly rude and hostile. He shouldn't be working in a customer service role. I thought it was just me but I've seen him drive other people out of the restaurant with his behavior. I used to come a couple times a week, mostly because the portions are big, but I won't be back as long as he's there. I don't give my money to businesses that treat their customers like garbage.

Second time I came to this place. Last year I came here just to grab something to eat during the Animethon I come to every year. The service was good, the staff were very friendly. But the food and the drinks aren't that bad, just enough to keep you nice and fed. The Subs were good and so are there Donairs. Either way, its good enough to come here to have something to eat and the seating area is nice and quiet to boot. May not be someone's cup of tea, but decent enough to sit down and take a break or two ^^

I don’t really write reviews since I just come and go, but this place was absolutely phenomenal in terms of food. I was by myself passing by the Canada Place building to get to the train station and I was starving, I went down to the rather desolate and outdated foodcourt and found this little restaurant, I ordered a jumbo beef donair and waited a few minutes and I kid you not, for the price of 13.64$, the portions was amazing.

The sauces added flavour and taste, the vegetables wasn’t overpowering and the DONAIR WAS DELICIOUS!! I would definitely visit here again. Delicious food. :)

Like beef meets grill, so has my conscience with the emblematic grace of this establishment with its food; thus materialising an epiphany like no other. Such inexpensive food endowed with care for the consumer effortlessly stands out in the socio-economic climate of modern donair concessions. Lets not forget to mention the generous portions provided enhancing the experience and amplifying the flavour and atmosphere even more. If any occasion should arise for any outing, I highly recommend this restaurant to be the choice for sustenance and nutriment.

The most bland sub I have ever had.
It was 90% bread and stale tasting.
A few bites and I just threw it away.
Service was grumpy and in a foreign language.
I was in town for a week and did not return and will not return again.

Love this place so much! I am a bit biased though because I've turned into a regular. Every time I walk in, they already know what I want!

Sometimes, it can get quite busy during lunch hours, but that's so understandable! It's a small business, and they're doing the best they can. Props to them!

Customer service is literally 10/10. They're so kind and professional. Like today, I usually get donair, but I wanted to try the other sauce option. Even tho it was busy today, she quickly gave me a sample to try before I was able to decide. So generous of her.

Avoid. 30-minute wait for a sub sandwich that looks absolutely unappetizing. There are much better vendors in the food court.

I ate here while at a conference at Edmonton Convention Centre. I had a sub one day which was fantastic and I had a donair the other day which was also fantastic. Reasonable prices for great food.
