We went for a family “steak” dinner and the experience was very disappointing. It was very quiet on a Sunday yet the server did not check in with our 4 tenderloins. They were so over cooked and dry they were the worst steaks I have had. The server came after my kids and I had finished our meal and cleared the table while my wife was still eating. She did not ask how the meal was tasting until I was paying my bill. At which time I got the chance to share our experience. There was no excuse as there were only 5 other parties dining at that time. My recommendation would be to go to moxies (I had the steak there the night before and it was 10x better).
Loved the food and great, quick service! We were going to a movie so it was nice to not have to rush . Good value for the price.
My husband was with me during my birthday, it was his first time eating at MR. MIKES and loved how awesome the host and our waiter was in communication. The food, as a steakhouse, it is truly recommended by a friend, to eat foods that a certain restaurant has a forte in, for MR. MIKES, Steaks and anything grilled they served was a delight! Drinks were awesomely mixed and poured well! p.s. the Sticky Toffee Pudding is the best ooey gooey treat to end an awesome meal!
Food was okay amazing to try food from different countries but the chicken was grilled too burnt

How does this place get away with charging $20+ for a burger and the burger is a frozen processed meat patty. The one I ordered came on a baguette bun. Not sure if that was supposed to make it more enticing but it didnt help at all. I got about 27 French fries as the side too. Definitely have to try something else next time im there cause the burgers ain't doing it.
The service was great and they have a wall of good family games to play which I thought was awesome. No more burgers for me.

Great service. They changed the channel so we could watch the Blue Jays game and we're excellent at keeping us happy at our table.
Love the steak, shrimp and double mashed potatoes with melted butter. So yummy.

We had a fantastic time! We were celebrating my daughter's 17th birthday. The staff were super accommodating and friendly to the kids. They made the experience super fun and inviting for them. We asked for a birthday song with dessert and they did not disappoint! Truly greatful to the staff! Amanda was our server and she was excellent at her job, waters always topped up and plates removed as soon as they were ready. We had another lovely lady (I did not catch her name but she had beautiful curly hair) was awesome and showed my daughter a great trick to eat with chopsticks! The bartender even stopped by to make sure their virgin drinks were good for them! The staff truly went above and beyond for us and I am grateful! Thankyou! We will absolutely be returning!
Had to wait over 40 minutes for a table. Once we got a table, waitress was polite and took our orders quickly. We had a variety of appetizers which were not bad. The lodgeburger was pretty good and tasty. Not bad quality for a steakhouse.

It was our 10th anniversary. We met at this restaurant on our first date. Mentioned that in the booking. Waitress barely talked to us. Our table was in the furthest corner of the restaurant so all I could see was a door. Thought at least maybe a small dessert or something to recognize that we have come to your restaurant for a very long time. The food was good. The rest, not so much!
Walking into Bourbon Street at West Edmonton Mall is always a bit of an experience—there’s a taco spot, a noodle place, a spaghetti joint, and a couple of pub-style restaurants. Mr. Mike’s stands out as the only steakhouse on the strip, though the menu stretches well beyond steaks with plenty of family-friendly choices.
We were seated quickly, and before long the place was packed—which says something about why it’s successful. I’ve been to a Mr. Mike’s before, and while it’s a chain, I think they’re independently owned. The food this time around was just okay in my opinion. We each had a sandwich: my buddy ordered the burger, I went for the beef dip, and the fries were done just right. The appetizers didn’t land as well—my lobster queso dip came out piping hot (points for that), but I’m not convinced the lobster added much. Then again, Edmonton isn’t exactly known for its seafood, which is why we skipped the seafood pasta.
Where this location really impressed was service and atmosphere. Our server was wonderful (wish I’d caught her name), and that alone makes me want to return. I also noticed a family at the next table playing one of the games they keep on hand for guests, which really underscores the family orientation here.
Final thought: even if I was a little hard on the food, the energy in the room, the piping-hot plates, and the excellent service made this visit worthwhile. Thanks, Mr. Mike’s.
