My family and I have always gotten our Indian takeout from here (for about 4 years), it’s always tasted amazing and been perfectly spicy. However, this is the second time I’ve found a foreign object in my food, the first time it was a piece of wood, and tonight it was a piece of metal.
So, in my takeout dinner tonight, I found a metal sliver (photo of metal and the dish I ordered attached). I thought it was a seed pod or a tough bit of plant, so I chewed a little harder… but it caused the filling in my tooth to hurt… so I’m actually not sure if it did any damage, but when we called the staff they seemed indifferent about it.
I love this restaurant… but I draw the line at eating metal. Thus, I’ve decided to write a review since not only could this metal piece have done damage to my tooth or my organs (if I swallowed it), but when we called the restaurant it seemed like they truly did not care for my wellbeing or plan to take any investigative measures where the metal came from.
Great food, amazing spices, but sometimes you’ll find an inedible piece inside.

I was really hoping that this place would be my new favourite go to for Indian cuisine, especially with a 4.8 star rating. The Butter chicken was mediocre at best and the amount given did not add value. Other items we had on the menu also did not meet a 4.8 expectation.

I just got finished devouring the food and let me tell you it was genuinely delicious. I ordered the butter chicken, butter naan bread, and coconut rice and for $28 you can’t go wrong it was so good the flavour was super good and I will definitely be going back totally worth it!
