I love this place! The food is amazing here, and I always choose the buffet. I brought my friend here recently who also fell in love with the restaurant. I really love the low, dimly lit, ambient lighting. The music is nice, and is at a nice level so that you can still conversate. All of these things create a wonderful and authentic atmosphere. I have at times had waiters forget to bring stuff but, it can be understandable because it can get very busy at certain times. When a large event is happing it is especially loud. I've always tried to come on weekdays to avoid this but the food never disappoints regardless.

I ordered the Lamb Roganjosh, and the Chicken Chettinand for dinner, and they were both truly amazing! I am a frequent customer because of how good the food is, and the service. This restaurant is located on 100th Avenue. Even though I come here all the time, its still worth coming back.

New Asian Village stands out with its unique atmosphere. The decor is absolutely stunning, and the food is equally delicious. It's a great choice whether you're looking for a cozy dinner or a place to celebrate a special occasion. I highly recommend it!

I called at lunch today to ask what the cost would be for a takeout box of buffet and was told it was the same as dine in ( $30). I get the place looks nice and itâs been a few years since Iâve been back to the franchise ( when the old north location charged its unreasonable price for take away ) but unless you go in to get your monies worthâŠ. Itâs not worth the price or maybe offer 2 to go boxes to make it worthwhile.
I visited this restaurant from saskatchewan again after few years, it was always the best but i think either ownership has changed or chef has changed. Food wasnt good, servers dresses were covered in stains, there was a strange sewage smell coming from behind the bar. We spent 78$ for 2 buffet n a mojito. Very disappointed

I tried their buffet today, and it was honestly a terrible experience. The main course food quality was so cheap, and the naan was rock hard. All of the food was cold. I even saw the chef reheating old naans and serving them. We complained about it when we paid, but their reaction was nothing. Really disappointing experience.

My experience was not good on top of that when I discussed with the management, they refused to solve the issue. Complete waste of time and money. They are selling stale and frozen food. Mr. Pratap is very rude to customers, he needs proper training how to deal with customers. Nightmare experience it was. Thanks never want to visit again.

It's a fantastic dinning environment and food is great. Big love handmade naan and the currey fish is awesome. Our family love it.

The New Asian Buffet has been a go-to spot for our family for over 10 years. Weâve always enjoyed coming here and have created many great memories over meals together. The food continues to be delicious, with a wide variety of options and consistent quality, which is why weâve kept returning all these years.
However, on our most recent visit a few days ago, we left feeling very disappointedânot because of the food itself, but because of the price. I understand that inflation has driven up the cost of ingredients and operating a restaurant, and I donât expect prices to stay the same as they were years ago. Still, paying almost $80 for just two people to enjoy the buffetâwithout any extras, only water to drinkâfeels far too steep.
While the food is still great, the value simply isnât there anymore. At that price point, it becomes difficult to justify dining here regularly, and I fear this may result in loyal customers like us visiting less often, or even choosing other restaurants instead. Itâs unfortunate, because we truly enjoy the food and experience, but the cost has reached a level that makes it hard to see it as worthwhile.
